Steve Yzerman provides an update on Dylan Larkin's trade request: "I will be deliberately brief here. Shortly after the season, I received a phone call from Dylan Larkin's agent informing me that Dylan would like to be traded. A week or so after that, Dylan's agent followed up with...

When a player requests a trade, should their no-trade-clause be automatically waived?

After signing a contract with a no movement clause if a player requests a trade then the NMC should be void.

Ask for a trade, job 1) strip the C No matter the outcome here Larkin can never wear the C again

The GM’s need to ensure the contracts are written where you have no say where you go if you request a trade

Yeah, I’m not a fan of these guys asking for trades and then only giving a few teams they are willing to go. I feel like if you ask for a trade you need to give a 16 team trade list at min

Players might not want to come to the wings if this is not solved soon.

If he's not traded, the captaincy MUST be stripped. Doesn't a NTC apply to both the team and the player? If he wants to be traded, he's not abiding by the NTC and it should be voided. Team should not be put in a position of weakness and should trade him to the highest bidder.

This is almost verbatim what he said when Drouin DEMANDED (not requested — there’s a difference) out of Tampa Bay. The deal didn’t happen until Yzerman got what he thought was the proper return for the player.

@pham1717 I love Yzerman looking out for what’s best for Wings, not capitulating to Larkin, and I’m not even a Wings fan

In my opinion if a team requests to trade a player the player can be selective in his list. B/c the team tried to change the deal. IF player asks for trade, he should give a short list of teams he won’t play for. Giving the team more options to recoup value

5 years? Sounds great to me. Make him regret he asked for a trade to begin with. If it is not good for the Wings, don't trade him. He has a choice, play for the Wings or sit.

Personally, I’m okay with players asking for NTC. That said, if they request a trade, that clause should automatically give teams the ability to trade with a minimum of 10-15 teams. Giving a list of 3 teams to be traded to is beyond ridiculous !

The NM/NTC was introduced to protect the player not to give player ammunition to use against team. If you request/demand a trade, you void the NM/NTC, plain and simple!!

NTC should be null and voided if player requests change. Teams protect their investments as well for handing over the kind of money to players who get NTCs. Teams should be able to trade players anywhere. You take the money, you get traded anywhere if terms are not abides by.

Dragging this past July First DOES NOT HELP ATTRACT free agents that can make a difference now.. Unless Stevie is going to see this one through because of pride and then change positions in the organization since Draper was part of this announcement, and elevate Draper to GM. :(

Eric Davis: I will spill my guts on UFOs if POTUS Waives My NDAs Dylan Borland: I will share what I know if I'm given amnesty. Why has neither request been granted? 🔥 ▲ Corbell: ODNI Claims Borland Drew Pics of a Pyramid-Shaped Power Source That Included a Hieroglyph ▲ 🔥 Full Transcript... Jeremy Kenyon Lockyer Corbell: "I was told...actually, I was asked [by Office of the DNI] to try to entrap Dylan. [Folks at ODNI asked me], 'When George and I did the filming of "Weaponized," and [Dylan] drew the triangle, did Dylan draw anything else?' I said, 'No. Why?' And my lawyer's like, 'Stop talking with ODNI!' And I go, 'No, no, no, no. I wanna find out what they're saying.' "So, a prime investigator of ODNI said to me, 'Did Dylan tell you about the pyramid power source?' And I go, 'No, tell me more. What are you talking about? What are you talking about? He never said that.' And he didn't. Dylan's a patriot, he's careful, he hasn't done DOPSR. "So, my question to Dylan, in front of you, I don't want to look at him, it's real simple: Did you draw an image of a non-human intelligence pyramid power source, maybe at Pax River, for the ODNI? Did you, yes or no?'" Dylan Borland: "I repeat the answer that I gave you for the name of a program (Rubik's Cube) that I can either confirm or deny. I can neither confirm or deny that right now. I will gladly answer that if the executive branch in Congress gives me amnesty." Corbell: "If the executive branch in Congress gives you amnesty." Borland: "I can neither confirm or deny. If I am legally allowed to answer that - I would love to - I would do so." Corbell: "You would love to? You'd love to answer that question?" Borland: "Absolutely." Moronic Audience Member: "Answer it." Corbell: "No, no, bro. Stop. No. Dylan is my friend. He came forward, apparently, I learned - George and I learned through ODNI - about non-human intelligence, a pyramid-shaped object that is a power source of non-human intelligence. I didn't learn that from Dylan. I learned that from ODNI. Is that true? I don't know, but he seems to wanna answer. And he's asking you, he's asking Congress for amnesty. And he'll answer, in front of the American public. "I got another question. Are you ready for it? Okay. George and I got a question. Dylan Borland - this is the craziest thing I heard from ODNI - Did you draw a hieroglyph that you understood was on that pyramid power source? Can you tell us if you went to ODNI and drew then them an image of not only the pyramid, but a hieroglyph that was on the pyramid, which would be really weird. Did you draw that image for them?" Borland: "I unfortunately am going to repeat the same thing because I am NOT going to jail. I can neither confirm or deny." Corbell: "Okay, let me back up one second. So, what you're not saying is...if you're given amnesty, that you would answer mine and George's question on if there was a power source that was a pyramid in shaped. And there was a hieroglyphic kind of image, which is a weird thing, on that power source of non-human intelligence. You would tell the truth to America under oath, standing in front of Congress? Would you do that if they give you amnesty?" Borland: "I would tell the truth about everything you just asked, without hesitation." Corbell: "Fuuuuuuck." (Of source, when I hear pyramid, hieroglyph and advanced tech, I think of Mars and the idea that that civilization (if it existed) came here to escape a natural disaster. And we are the Martians. Is the intelligence behind these triangular craft somehow related to that? Just speaking out loud.)
