Stickerbush Symphony — David Wise (1995)

the song that made people traumadump in youtube comments for some reason

So nostalgic

The rare internet checkpoint.

internet checkpoint: life has been tough but im getting through it everyday the years go by day by day hour by hour and i get a little bit older and a little bit wiser

David Wise is so good man. Diddy Kong Racing also had an incredible soundtrack from him. Robin Beanland is great too - Conkers Bad Fur Day and his more recent work in Sea of Thieves is the only reason to play that game. Rare has kicked out some of the best VG music of all time.

Donkey Kong classic.

Bramble Blast is already a stressful enough level, but David Wise turned navigating through those razor-sharp thorns into a transcendental, out-of-body experience. That timeless melody hits you with instant 90s nostalgia every single time. Absolute audio perfection on the SNES! 🐊🎷✨ #StickerbushSymphony #DavidWise #DonkeyKongCountry #SNES #RetroGaming

Checkpoint

I can sit with this in the background for hours. I've never even played the darn game. A higher power was working through Mr. Wise on the day he made this.
