Optimistic by Sounds of Blackness is a staple in Black homes and untouchable but I do love what August Greene and Brandy did with this. #BlackHistoryMonth

So honored to do a Tiny Desk Concert with NPR Music and bring back music from the very beginning of my career! “Pray,” is a reminder to lean into prayer in every situation, even when it doesn’t make sense. Be encouraged today… check out my Tiny Desk now on NPR Music’s YouTube!

223 takes. That's how many times it took to get this NPR Tiny Desk appearance juuuuust right. And yes, there is still that tiny part of us that thinks with a 224th it might have been perfect.

We had such a beautiful time performing for NPR Tiny Desk. This summer I'm releasing an English language album ~ "Sidharth" The music you've heard is from that record, it's a culmination of all my influences from Carnatic, Folk, and Soul. Excited to share the with you all
