De’Zhaun Stribling is making a strong case for a role in San Francisco. He caught 3 passes from Brock Purdy on the 49ers’ first 9 offensive plays tonight and added a 21-yard catch from Mac Jones. That comes after 7 catches in the preseason opener. Ricky Pearsall is out for the season and George Kittle is still working his way back, which gives Stribling a real opportunity to contribute right away.

This is honestly maybe the worst play calling sequence I’ve ever seen from the 1 yard line. - Inside Zone with everybody inside trying to run at Vita Vea - Double Move from the 1 on a ball that we have seen CJ not throw that effectively in the past - Sprint rollout to the left inside the DE when Tampa has 4 players to essentially cover 3 What a disaster.
