Still the best DQ overworld theme

Still bummed we didn't get an announcement that this bad boy is getting a remaster. My favorite DQ overworld theme and game!

I'm holding out hope. It'll happen

I’m partial to this one, but VIII’s is probably my second favorite.

This is a classic theme. Love it.

DQ1 music later reused in Dragon Quest Builders 2 was damn good. DQ3 might not be the best but it sounded epic.

Yes! I loved DQB2’s references to old DQ games. My kids were obsessed with DQB2. Hearing the old DQ themes brought everything home. Generations passing onto new generations. I can’t wait for DQB3.

Love this game

Wrong wrong wrong. I respect your opinion but WRONG

I have to disagree with you and I barely do. This is the one: That “I don’t feel like doing it but it’s gotta get done” music.

@Rawameriwani This is another fantastic track. Love this version of it.

I remember when this game came out, I signed my Brother out of school and we went to gamestop to get it for him.

Core memory right there. This was an incredible game.

Yes, and Yes! It was a great memory for both of us.

Not when you have this masterpiece

YESSS

Yes

Pretty sure it's my favourite DQ theme.

I can see why. Timeless and iconic.

The minute I heard this for the first time just knew this game would be a masterpiece 😎

Some games you recognize as masterpieces while playing them. DQ VIII is one of those games.

💯🤜🏻🤛🏻

Those rolling hills are so simple yet so gorgeous.

They really are. Lush and evocative. Like there's adventure around every corner.

When they say Dragon Quest doesn't have good music

You always bring me back, I love it.

All part of the plan.

Yup! I even change the overworld music in DQXI to this.

Big same.

Every time I visit this track, it gives me a sense of calmness and freedom. 😌

Im crying from nostalgia..

You posted DQ3 adventure theme wrong

we're reaching levels of comfy that shouldn't be possible

So 🐐 ed it’s in DQXI as an option to play and also the main theme in Smash/Grow - they know they they made an all time banger theme.

Weurd That's not DQ 3's overworld theme

Another great one.

If the music isnt good, then the chances of it being a good game dramatically decreases. Can anyone name one game that is good but had shit music?

When I first heard this song, I felt a profound sense of peace wash over me.

when the trumpet is singing>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Reminds me of the theme to Gone With The Wind.

Dude. Quite literally this is what my wife said when she first heard this song. Excellent taste. And I hear it.

@GoldenDia_7 The town theme is one of the best

@GoldenDia_7 Both Peaceful Town and Chatting are so good. I appreciated hearing Chatting in XI. And Majestic Castle is a straight banger.

I just started playing on the 3ds and That beginning part has been stuck in my head for weeks bro

😎👍🏼👍🏼

@R4T4RI4_G4M3S joga o 8 safada

DQ8 was my first time seriously engaging with the franchise. I loved the serene Overworld them being interrupted with this rockin' fight theme with the horn hits evoking Big Band sound. Strong reason to play the DQ Builder series - it's a Greatest Hits of awesome arrangements.

Isn’t this identical to the world theme from dqiii?

No, but DQIII’z theme is good. It plays during certain times during DQXI’s overworld.

My dream is to play this again on modern hardware with the 3DS content and now the cope, playable Marcello
