Can anyone help me here. I served for exactly 16 years 7 months, and I have never seen the battlefield applications of “combat aluminum bats”. Is this a new thing they are prepared for or what?

This guy reminds me of another guy from China who I had the pleasure of helping to get to A&E for doing a similar stunt in Plymouth with a weighted aluminium baseball bat, another student had loaned him to perform what I think was meant to be something like this! Only after the first swing he was unconscious, and the persons involved quickly had somewhere else to be, including the poor guys friends who saw the blood and ran off. Besides the fractured skull, I heard he was alive and very confused about what had happened, where I explained, the student was speaking a dialect I wasn’t familiar, I thought was Mandarin. I now know it was Mandarin, but was sure, at the time. Where the intoxicated student was bragging about doing something and proceeded to knock himself out, where everyone else decided they didn’t want to be in that area after, what I think they thought was his demise. I did wonder what he was trying to achieve, swinging the bat so he knocked himself out, I guess he was doing this moronic move with a bat! Thank you for answering that mystery from 20 years ago!

1st, If you don't know, @ChinaUncensored is very anti-PRC. 2nd, Hitting yourself in the head with a bat is not a recommended combat technique in any military. This being said, I encourage West Taiwan to use this martial arts skill when fighting, well, anybody.
