With the DJI microphone I am using here you can turn off the bluetooth feature by not connecting it to your phone. With bluetooth it is a significant RF EMF source that I would not want by my body for hours filming.

Okay, but what's worse? using AirPods so I can set my phone down somewhere else or using plug-in earbuds but still having my phone next to my junk in my pocket ?

@jonahefaw No easy way out- how about speakerphone or wired headphones with the phone a few feet from your body?

I'm specifically thinking of when I'm at the gym or cooking while listening to something.

Wireless 🛜 microphone when filming this video doesn’t really set a good example … just saying …

You can turn off bluetooth on the mic by no connecting it to your phone. I always do this when filming.

Theres a risk in anything, gotta live life. You risk drowning everytime you get on the surfboard😅

Some risks are easily mitigated, like wireless headphones.

And what about the dangers of playing football. Im fucking dead.

Taking science advice from athletes who are flat-earthers is wild. Tell me more, professor.

And the studies? Do these concern you?

Who cares

X is crazy. You must be a rage bot. Welcome to the interwebs.

How about hearing aids? Using Bluetooth?

I agree! I write about this in my book at Unfortunately a lot of modern cell phones dont have the port to plug in wired headphones. Seems intentional. Check out my book. We should chat sometime, paisano.

The radiation still runs up the wire. Use a ferrite bead to stop it.

Over the ear headphones like the airpod max reduce emf to the brain by 80 to 90 percent. If the phone is 3 feet from your head when you sleep, the emf is almost undetectable. Science.

Make headphone jacks great again

I love turning my brain into deep fried stew.

@grok is this true?

What’re your thoughts on smart devices… Apple Watch? Whoop?

This seems like a no-brainer (forgive the pun) I dodged the trend and stayed throughout with wired headphones.

good thing, that I'm deaf

I think Apple would have the research completed on this already. These NFL athletes can’t be seen wearing Beats or competing wireless headphones of the NFL sponsor which was Bose but is now Sony.

I have hearing aids with blue tooth. Dangerous?

Nope

These are the best headphones I’ve ever purchased. No artificial bass. Just clarity at a good price. If you want more bass or whatever use your phone settings.

At some point you have to accept that something is eventually going to kill you. Pick your poison.

I agree that it is a good idea to avoid EMF radiation. But from my understanding it is 10x worse to use corded headphones, because they act like an antenna for your phone. Do you have any information on this?

I always put my phone here. Closed in a zipper. Does that make a difference?

The risk is not bad enough with the current information out to not use AirPods. There’s minor risk in almost everything.

If my phone is in my pocket all the time does my sperm count decrease

Preach brotha. Have some kids too while you're at it too! No sense taking that pristine Saladino-nonRF-nonSeedOil sperm to the grave with you.

Very thought provoking, about to change my phone’s range from the bed and try no AirPods.

Hi Paul. Have you ever walked through a city with ear buds in? The signal drops in and out. We are all exposed to this involuntary.

Still? I never started.

Thanks to you we stopped using our AirPods a couple of years ago and dusted off our old wired EarPods 🙏🏼😎

bullshit
