I think it's time. I'm a full-time Wuthering Waves, Arknights Endfield, Neverness to Everness, NIKKE, OG Arknights player. I play them all every week. But I don't really play any HoYoverse games, even in spite of them being good games. That all changes on August 1. On August 1st, 2026, I will officially be beginning Honkai Star Rail from the BEGINNING! I've only ever played through 1.0 at release, and haven't touched it since. I want to take my time and enjoy the game, I've heard a LOT of good things about it, and I've enjoyed watching its cinematics recently. The characters look great, voice acting is always fantastic. It's honestly just time. I recently started Punishing Gray Raven as well, from the beginning, to catch up, so I think, moving forward, I'm going to add HSR and PGR to my regular rotation of games to stream and cover. I've always said HSR was a good game. It's finally time to test just how good it is. No hate, no tribalism, just playing a new game for fun. That's how I wanna do it. Screw the haters.

So I just finished Belobog for the first time (back at launch I played until I met Clara, and had to stop due to other games I was playing), but after having completed it, I will say with 100% certainty, Honkai Star Rail might have one of the sickest version 1.0's I've ever played in a Gacha game. No hate to other games, no shade to other games, no tribalism at all - I'm just genuinely in shock and awe at how well put together this story is and how great of a conclusion to Belobog this had. You need to give games credit, where credit is due. HSR's accomplishment with 1.0 doesn't make any other game less incredible. It just means HSR 1.0 is that good. I'm almost done with 1.0, and will then be starting Genshin Impact 1.0 from scratch, then Zenless Zone Zero 1.0 from scratch, but I'm excited to see how HSR continues to improve from here.

Brody had his 5th grade music program last night and we are so grateful to his band teacher, Mr. McMahon. When Brody said he wanted to play trumpet, he went to work to make it happen. This is Brody’s 3D printed trumpet from a company called Digibrass. It uses buttons instead of valves and he can tilt it to change the pitch. It plugs into a guitar amp and takes much less breath work to play than a regular trumpet. We are so grateful to Andover schools and Mr McMahon in particular for finding ways to include Brody so he can pursue his love of music.
