As a result, the BlueBird 7 satellite by AST SpaceMobile was placed into a lower-than-planned orbit and is expected to eventually re-enter and burn up in the atmosphere. The re-entry of the second stage is likely what caused the bright fiery trail seen in the sky over Kyiv.
