NBC News has just published an article Attacking Elon Musk after they found 150 Premium Accounts on X posting “pro-nazi” content. My Thoughts as a Jewish X User: I think a few important facts should be noted before we go any further: - Yes, 150 paid accounts may have posted disgusting content, but keep in mind that X has about 1.3 million X as many users. - We also don’t know if the paid accounts may or may not be demonetized or even de-amplified as we don’t have access to the back end. I think there are two camps here. You can support any speech that is legal within a public square, or you can support censoring it. While I am more in the former camp, I do think that X should remove the paid status of paid subscribers who are posting pro-nazi or antisemitic statements. I can say that I do see antisemitic posts directed towards me almost daily, but what the media is ignoring is the fact that this has been a problem online for 2 decades. I have not noticed any more antisemitism on X recently than I had under Jack Dorsey. That doesn’t mean that things shouldn’t be done to stop it, but I do feel that the media may be searching for a story rather than covering a story here.

There's something about free diving that is inherently frightening. This is coming from someone who enjoys skydiving. Few things truly scare me, but claustrophobic scenarios are at the top of the list, followed by Hollywood style 1000 yard high tidal waves and after that, incredibly deep water, whether it be the ocean or a 40 meter deep pool. I have no problem falling from a plane, but the thought of swimming to the bottom of a pool that deep is horrific.

Dotting extra streams here and there is great, but setting one or two or more regular days in is ideal 🍀 Queueing posts A lot of platforms offer to schedule posts, which means that you just have to write them out, maybe draft them, and then you'll have things ready to post. This can be anything: sharing progress on skills, posting ideas, screenshots, etc! 🍀 Active effort! Whether it's interacting in your discord, commenting on other's posts, writing scripts, learning new programs, setting up collabs, or scheduling content, a little bit goes a long way Consistency beats everything. It's okay to miss a day here and there, but make sure that you make content creation a grind you can enjoy! 💛
