Shreyas Iyer, who wasn't part of India's last two WC -winning squads, and Tilak Varma, who doesn't even have a fixed position in the T20I XI, are being discussed for captaincy but not Sanju( Not like Sanju doesn't have captaincy experience - Sanju is the only RR captain to take RR to an IPL final since 2008) Sanju has 57 ODI avg, a 💯 in his last ODI which was a series decider in SA yet he is not in consideration for ODIs? Is it because he is not a Hindu? I seriously think that's the main reason.

Look at Sanju Samson he looks completely broken, as if someone has taken away his happiness. 🥺 Sanju Samson didn’t lose his confidence or happiness because he didn’t score runs. His confidence was completely broken when he was told in the middle of the match that he wouldn’t be allowed to do wicket-keeping. People troll Gautam Gambhir because they feel he is being very hypocritical. He had said that even if Sanju scored zero in 10 consecutive matches, he would still be backed. Fine, Sanju hasn’t scored runs in the last few matches and he might miss out on the World Cup, but if you played him in the 5th match, he should have been given the full match.
