A few days ago when I posted about a school kid crossing the road from behind an auto, people said we should always cross from the front and the situation is this ! Nobody stops when a school bus stops in India ! The safe option for kids is to wait until the bus moves,have safe clearance on both sides,see and be seen and then cross 🤞 OR must be accompanied by adults(parent or school attender), who do that safely and don't jay walk assuming vehicles would stop 🛑 Dave (Road Safety: City & Highways)

A bus crashed in Hungary killing 12 people and badly injuring at least 10 others. The bus was carrying Polish tourists on their way back from a pilgrimage. Police said it was likely the accident had been caused by the driver falling asleep. The bus, which had 57 passengers and 2 drivers on board, veered off the motorway and overturned in a ditch, trapping some of the passengers underneath.

The City of Chicago says bus companies that dropped off migrants from Texas starting back in 2022 owe the city more than $440,000 Democrats aren’t upset the illegals were dropped off in Chicago, that’s not what they’re siding for. Democrats are suing because the illegals weren’t dropped off in the designated areas In 2023, Chicago updated rules requiring intercity bus companies to: - Obtain prior authorization from the Chicago Department of Transportation commissioner before unloading passengers - Drop migrants only at designated locations, not random spots or suburbs Bus companies often didn’t use the designated areas and that’s why Democrats want money from them for…. “The city sued 95 bus companies claiming they failed to comply with Chicago's municipal ordinance. It states a bus company must have authorization from the CDOT commissioner to unload passengers” I looked into this and here are the details - The city filed nearly 1,000 complaints against about 27 bus companies - So far 52 complaints have already been settled, with 43 default judgments - Fines per violation typically range from $2,000 to $10,000 The city is so broke this is what they’re focusing on to get money….
