I uploaded my sensitive code to a random site called github, now all the LLMs are trained on it, sigh.

does this seem 100% local to you?

Very cool, but it's a bummer that videos still need to be processed on the server. The web can do better! Check out my library Mediabunny which enables truly local, hardware-accelerated (and insanely fast) video conversion, built from scratch:

Cute. No pdf support at all (hello gs) and video still goes to an online service (hello ffmpeg). I'll pass.

Just learn ffmpeg

> try using vert > drop first random file I see, .mp4 > see this what happens to truth in advertising?

and it is a PWA๐

It doesn't convert PDF. I tried it. Easy to run locally. Would love to see the PDF support.

Need pdf support. Adding, splitting, merging.

link to repo?

THATS OOMF

Don't tell me we are living age of ai. Everything is primitive, you can search all internet but you can't convert pdf files without huge data loss. VERT doesnt have pdf support:)) Even most of rag systems sucks, thats why llms trained with broken data. Pdf is enemy.

@notnullptr OOMF?????

one click coolify would slap for it ๐คฉ, I just got hit by an idea @heyandras how about a deploy with coolify btn that projects can have on their docs etc like the "deploy with vercel" btn

Who have you befriended @notnullptr ? lmao

ffmpeg + imagemagick, thank me later

"stop uploading files to random websites - here is a random website to convert files"

@clpzy

vert sounds promising. local file conversion ensures greater privacy and security.

Random website: Stop uploading your sensitive files to random websites. Me: [Uploads sensitive file] Random website: ๐ฏ๐ฏ

@notnullptr look at it!

soo cool!

who is she?

Need help

Cool ! Thanks @github !!๐๐

Amazing this is soo needed

Why not make it a native app?

@FFmpeg and Handbrake have something to say about this suggestion...

@notnullptr you're winning so hard

I vibe coded my local software. Itโs always on my desktop and super efficient. I donโt know I could advertise it or sell it

@AdedigbaOluwad1

Cool
