okay but you haven't show us how the danger button looks like if the brand color is already red tho

We didn’t get any payoff of the hook 😫 Show us the danger button in the secondary style!

You didn't show the other color of danger button. 👎

amazing video, but... what should I use for danger? 😅

You didn’t really address the problem here. Your examples are not danger scenarios.

More so “red is still danger, so what to do if your brand color is red…”

We associate red subconsciously as danger because of our biology, if our blood was blue than a stoplight/sign would be blue, red makes us think about what we are looking at, dangerous buttons should be red, brand colors in my opinion should never be red.

*Screams in Industrial Automation*

Just don’t make your brand red

Better this

Almost all my brands use red and I’ve run into this problem. I think I’ll end up watching this video about 53x to make sure I get it. Haha.

this isn't really about the color of danger buttons as it is about organizing branding colors...

Interesting idea… it kind of seems almost engraved into UI design by now

Great advice, thank you

yeah... esp. when the brand color is red! Blah.

Love this breakdown! Very helpful

UI decisions 🤔

Yeah) use green for danger

Curious, what’s your keyboard, it looks stunning!

Uuhh I know that keyboard, you snob 🥰

Unless your primary brand color is red; Airbnb 😅 And yes, dark grey is a great combination to use as a CTA, but what about on the dark theme? Light grey CTA 👀

brooo you said exactly what I’m doing in my current project!! they use red as the main color cuz it’s their brand color, so they picked purple for errors but honestly that’s such a waste of a palette option 😩

Notifications are contextual bruh. Like, since the dawn of time. They stop teaching the obvious in design school.

Very true, super cool video!

Post more here on x!

The keyboard 💕

Really nice explanation and a real-world problem, which every designer can relate to

So what color should I put as danger button ?

Well said Zander. Couldn't agree more. I found introducing tertiary in initial component design is helpful and reduce such conflict like such and separate brand colours from other. Super handy!

Use green!

Hey @zander_supafast i used Red (#EC0000) at this moment for project and it work so well #design

No brand should be red. Red = Evil

Thank you. Two years preaching this in the void.

what keyboard is that? ;3
