Nothing beats the sound of a V10 on 15.000 rpm

I was at Silverstone in 2005 the noise just goes through you. The V8s were good but the 10's just had a little bit of extra meatiness to them... reminisces in old man...

Okay, can we have our V10s back in F1, please?

Not saying we need this exactly…but a return to the sounds of CART from the mid 90s would be a welcome return to the 500. A loud, unique noise does wonders for a racing series’ popularity.

Such a shame that this track won't see F1 action for a long time. It's so good and the spectacle and scenery are amazing. Would 1000% take this over Vegas and Miami

I was at this race. It's literally what made me fall in love with the sport as a kid. I remember being over near Turn 2 of the oval and hearing them come out of the pits on the opposite side of the track and thinking Holy Shit

Those were the days... boomer ! But nothing will get to the Matra v12 by night in the Hunaudières. Especially when they got airborne on the bump...

Bring F1 back to Indy!!

The thing about the V10 era is after attending a Grand Prix, you got into the mindset that they sounded rubbish on TV. But after 11 years of the V6 turbo hybrid era, oh my how we didn't appreciate the V10s when they were around.

Is there any F1 fan that doesn't want this to return? Genuine question. I hope the @fia @F1 take note.

I was there every year for F1 in Indy. The sound of the V10 was intoxicating. The smell was even better.

Sounds like Star Wars on crack. Give me the sound of NASCAR any day of the week over this stuff.

This is F1 and what it used to sound like. If you saw it live, it was something to behold, the sound the smell the whole experience. Used to travel the world to see and hear the cars. Wouldnt travel to the bottom of my garden to watch this years cars. Dull Like football, its gone
