STORM TIMING: No major changes to the forecast for tonight. Thunderstorms will move into most of North Texas very quickly after 9pm. The strongest parts, along the leading edge, of this complex of storms could have 70-80+ mph wind gusts. Not everyone will see winds that strong.

Tropical Storm Bertha is taking aim at the Gulf Coast. Robert Ray shows the rough conditions along the Gulf of America from Alabama as forecast models show Bertha could strengthen again before making landfall in Texas. Forecasters warn parts of the Texas Gulf Coast could see wind gusts up to 60 mph, along with dangerous rip currents, high surf and localized flash flooding as the storm moves closer.
