Rules for me but NOT for thee. #Hoboken So I'm home yesterday for street sweeping and I went out to move my car out of my driveway spot as I heard the sweeper coming. HPU person in her scooter had me ticketed before the sweeper even got close to my house. I told the sweeper truck driver that it's the first time all summer that I was ticketed. I usually come out when the truck comes so I can move the still broken stanchion in front of my spot. This allows the sweeper to actually sweep. I also told the driver that it's 🐂 💩 because they never ticket the construction guys across the street or even make them move. Well this morning, I was proven right again. 😂 You'll notice the stanchions on either side of the driveways. The sweeper doesn't even go in between stanchions yet this worker ticketed me a full block early, yet ignores these abusers every single week. I'll be fighting my $50 ticket and provide evidence to interested local media outlets that might find this curious. The one day I was 2 minutes late to move my car and broken stanchion, I got dinged yet this happens weekly. For MONTHS. Double standard. Crap like this infuriates me.
