History has been made by Stratolaunch, a hypersonic flight test research company headquartered in Mojave, California. The fully autonomous Talon-A2, equipped with landing gear, has successfully exceeded speeds of Mach five and completed its second autonomous landing at Vandenburg Space Force Base. This mission documentary follows the first recovered flight of TA-2, the result of five years of effort and dedication marking a pivotal moment in sustainable hypersonic flight test for our country. Congratulations to the Stratolaunch team and partners on this success! Next steps: fly TA-2 again and again, increasing the cadence of hypersonic flight tests for the United States. Stay tuned as Stratolaunch prepares to fly and land TA-2 once more.

OVERNIGHT: A Frontier Airlines flight bound for Los Angeles struck and killed a pedestrian on the runway during takeoff at Denver International Airport late Friday night, causing the person to be partially ingested into one of the engines, triggering a brief engine fire. “Tower, Frontier 4345, we’re stopping on the runway. Wee just hit somebody. We have an engine fire.” All 231 passengers and crew were evacuated from the airplane. Runway 17L remains closed as the NTSB and FAA investigate the incident.

Russian soldiers were tasked with covering three and a half kilometers across open terrain, gaining a foothold in the plantings and holding them. The guys don’t have many motorcycles and buggies, and there weren’t enough seats for all the assault troops, so a soldier with the call sign Bardak volunteered to ride his personal Porsche and complete the combat mission. In these shots where the buggy and other equipment got stuck in the forest belt, the Cayenne was able to drive and immediately headed to the assigned target, took up a position and waited for its own. On November 21, 2021, a Cessna 172N was involved in an accident during a solo pattern flight at Old Bridge Airport in New Jersey. The student pilot had completed several takeoffs and landings with a flight instructor earlier that day and was cleared for solo operations. During a solo landing, the airplane bounced, and the pilot initiated a go-around. During the initial climb, the aircraft pitched up sharply, entered an aerodynamic stall, turned to the left, and descended to the ground. The airplane impacted the left side of the runway, sustained substantial damage, and a post-impact fire ensued. The student pilot sustained minor injuries. The NTSB determined the probable cause was the student pilot’s loss of control during the go-around, which resulted in an aerodynamic stall.  📸 runthisshitt
