Tee on the inside half. Hit it back up the middle. I’d do this drill a lot to groom my bat path to be short & inside the baseball. If you can consistently be inside the baseball it will allow you to trust your self to let the baseball travel deep towards the plate before you make a decision to swing. When you can let the ball travel deeper to make a decision to swing you swing at better pitches…. When you swing at better pitches & track the ball longer you square up more baseballs…. Square up more baseballs get more hits! Hitters University

How to set up the tee for a pitch down the middle, inside & outside. I see far too many athletes setting up incorrectly when doing tee work at my clinics and I see it from all ages. I can’t stress enough how important it is to have the tee in the correct spot. You can have the best swing in the world but if your contact point is off, it does you no good. For a pitch down the middle, you’ll want to make contact with the ball about even with your front foot in order to stay connected and hit for maximum power. Inside will be right outside of front foot and outside will be right inside of front foot. Letting the ball travel too deep will jam you and catching too far out front will force you to hit the ball off the end of the bat and roll over. So for those wanting to change swing mechanics so quickly for mishitting the ball, check your contact points first.

Do you struggle with low point control? Tired of hitting the ball fat? Here is one common move that I see golfers do that causes low point issues! 🔹If the upper body moves off the golf ball too much, you will have a hard time getting the chest back on top of the ball at impact 🔹Work on staying more centred when you rotate your body in the backswing 🔹This will help stay over the ball and make it easier to have you body ahead of the ball at impact, moving low point forward and compressing the ball better Increased shaft lean, divot in front of the ball, compressed iron shots 👊🏼

If you stay too high, your defender can chest you off. If you get low, you create space, sell the drive, and get by your defender. Save this series and add it to your workouts if you want your handle to actually transfer to the game 💯

You can go with or against the slope! 1: With the slope (great for longer clubs as they’re generally shallower into contact) - Ball position, normal or even slightly further forward - ⁠ spine angle, approximately perpendicular to the slope - ⁠ The ball will go really high so club up 2: Against the slope (I like this better for shorter irons as the swing is steeper and we’re looking for solid contact just like Karol) - ball position further back - ⁠ Lean on front leg - ⁠ The through swing will probably be more of a punch style because of the slope Which one would you do?
