Best way to ensure no labour disruption is to offer a decent settlement you vainglorious fool.

so give the teachers what they need

Catch Lecce in his presser today saying that ed unions threaten strikes every 6 to 12 months for the past 30 years. How can anyone take this guy seriously? This is who your child’s educator has to try and negotiate with. #onted

Fun to watch you blabbing away with no sound on. You never change your tune so we all know your song and dance off by heart. Your role in this #Greenbelt fiasco is not going unnoticed. FFS you're shafting teachers and debasing public education for your and Fordie's developer pals

It’s not a done deal you know that right? OSSTF membership have to back this proposal and therefore strikes are not off the table! It would be nice if you stopped lying to the parents and students of Ontario once in a while! This is NOT a done deal!

there wouldn't be threat of strikes in the first place if you bargained in good faith and actually respected public education

Minister. How are kids supposed to stay in class when they're home sick every other week? Schools are not set up for this era. Your motto needs to be " let's clean the air, LETS KEEP KIDS IN CLASS"

“OSSTF says the deal with the Ford government is not a tentative contract but rather an agreement to roll over negotiations into binding arbitration that would avoid a strike.” Still needs to be ratified by members, but has been accepted by the union leaders. Colin D.

Threats of strikes, instability, interrupted school year, sick kids and staff.... that's all on you. It's YOUR JOB to run a ministry that functions. It's YOUR JOB to negotiate with your staff. It's YOUR JOB to provide safe learning and working conditions. DO YOUR JOB.
