He makes a handful of throws just about every week, where you look at it and think “there might be 2 or 3 other guys that could even attempt that throw”. When they get some more playmakers around him and he settles in to that offense look out.

1000% on point. I live in LA and watched the Chargers quite a bit. Yeah Staley was fired, but I don’t think people get what an absolutely terrible head coach he was. Herbert once again looks like the Herbert from Oregon. Helps that he also has a decent OL.

A lot of people are saying Justin Herbert was “rude” to ESPN’s Laura Rutledge for not wanting to do this postgame interview after the Chargers OT win vs Philly My thoughts: 1. He did come across a little rude, but acted like a professional after he reluctantly agreed to be interviewed. 2. Laura was persistent and just tried to do her job. 3. Herbert deserves some grace. He’s is coming off of a big win, beat up after 7 sacks and just had hand surgery. He just wants a few seconds to celebrate with his team. 4. Laura, and many of these female reporters, need to ask better questions. “What was it like” questions are so tiresome… 5. As far as I’m aware, and based on my own experience interviewing athletes during/after games, a broadcast team/reporter gives the team’s PR personnel a head’s up who they want to interview and that player is, at least, aware of a potential interview, so Herbert wouldn’t be surprised. 6. The Chargers had a moment in that Texans playoff game that I was convinced they were about to turn it all around. Herbert had 2 interceptions at this point. We were down 2 scores. Yet he started to just march down the field. Watch this full sequence and tell me we wouldn’t have gotten some points if Dissly could actually catch the football. Instead he is then at 3 interceptions and the Texans get the ball gifted to them in the red zone. Justin Herbert could’ve gotten us back into this game if this bs didn’t happen. I've been hated on and laughed at for defending Justin Herbert, so this is nothing new. I'm completely used to it. I know so many of you know exactly how I feel. There is reason for genuine optimism if you're a Chargers fan, though, and I'll tell you why: 👇 ⚡️ The Return of Slater ad Alt. ⚡️ Fantastic Cap Space. ⚡️ Exciting young RBs, TEs, and WRs! I realized I had it better. It made me realize 2 things that changed my life: 1) If you're young, you have the most valuable thing of all: your whole life ahead of you. You still get to play the game. 2) Life is all a big game. Imagine if someone life swapped with you...how would they be playing your character better than you are? What would they be doing differently? How much more fun would they be having? This was hands down one of the best thoughts I've ever had. I discuss:
