A ceremony with libation was performed, asking the river to return the body the next day. However, since Tuesday is a sacred day for the river, nothing happened until Wednesday, when the river brought the body to the surface. Before the ceremony, it was said that if the river itself had taken his life, the body would not return. But if he had jumped in himself or someone else was responsible, the river would release the body.

Crossing the river in his car in such a strong current was very dangerous because he could have been swept away along with his car. Then he did a mathematical calculation to figure out from which point he should start crossing the river, how much his car would drift with the current, and at which point on the other side he would reach after crossing. He prepared his route according to the flow of the water.
