I live in berkshire , farming has troubles there and predominantly being pushed out from many reasons, the land has become incredibly valuable to developers who don't farm it, the rivers /streams/ ditches not maintained through policies not fitting and flood plain development

@farminghub It needs too! Now over 7 inches and closing in our wettest month in over 60 years of records here with more forecast Some place over 9 so far, very rare for inland central southern England. Oxford already past wettest week in over 250 yrs

At Tintwistle Moor in Derbyshire, fire crews are tackling a fire that's been burning since 24 June. Today the fire service urged people not to go walking in the exclusion zone around the area, as this prevents helicopters being used to drop water on the fire.
