The Sahakar Nagar underpass, located behind the Mall of Asia, has been flooded, resulting in multiple cars being submerged in water. Commuters are advised to drive safely and avoid waterlogged underpasses to prevent any mishaps. This situation raises serious concerns about the level of safety provided to citizens by authorities, including D.K. Shivakumar and the BBMP. It is disheartening to see that despite numerous incidents and continuous complaints, the condition of Bengaluru's infrastructure has only worsened. The BBMP appears to be failing in its duties, leaving citizens to fend for themselves during such crises. The flooding of a major underpass not only disrupts daily life but also poses significant risks to the safety and well-being of commuters. The authorities must recognize the urgent need to address these infrastructure issues and take proactive measures to ensure that such incidents do not recur. It is unacceptable for a city of Bengaluru's stature to face such basic infrastructure problems. The residents deserve better from their elected officials and municipal bodies, who should prioritize the improvement and maintenance of essential services to enhance the quality of life for everyone in the city. #bangalore #bengaluru #BangaloreRains #BengaluruRains #BangaloreRain #bbmp @Bbmpcares @BBMPCOMM ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್‌ BengaluruCityPolice ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಸಂಚಾರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ BengaluruTrafficPolice YELAHANKA TRAFFIC PS YALAHANKA NEW TOWN POLICE STATION ACP YELAHANKA BCP YELAHANKA TRAFFIC BTP YELAHANKA BCP CP Bengaluru ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಆಯುಕ್ತ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು DGP KARNATAKA alok kumar S. The current state of roads in Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India, is nothing short of alarming. Despite citizens paying hefty road taxes, the city’s infrastructure, particularly its roads, is riddled with massive potholes and craters, making daily commuting a nightmare. The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), the governing body responsible for maintaining the city's infrastructure, seems to be in a state of perpetual slumber, unable to address this critical issue due to sheer negligence and inefficiency. Is this truly the vision we had for "Brand Bengaluru"? A city that aspires to be a global tech hub, yet struggles with basic road maintenance? Instead of smooth, well-maintained streets that reflect the city's reputation as a leading IT capital, we have roads that resemble the surface of the moon. Such a situation not only tarnishes the city's image but also poses serious safety hazards to its residents, leading to accidents and injuries. The question that arises is: how long will the authorities remain indifferent to the plight of the people? Bengaluru deserves better, and it’s high time that proper accountability and immediate action are enforced to restore the city’s infrastructure to its deserved standard. Joint CP, Traffic, Bengaluru S. One Rain Turns Bengaluru Into the ‘Venice of the East’ But for All the Wrong Reasons Just a single spell of rain, and Bengaluru transforms into the so-called "Venice of the East"—not because of scenic canals, but because of flooded roads, overflowing drains, and knee-deep water in residential areas. Streets are strewn with garbage, culverts are choked, and rainwater has nowhere to go thanks to poorly maintained or completely absent drainage infrastructure. This isn’t an act of nature it’s a man-made disaster fueled by years of negligence and mismanagement by the Maheshwar Rao.M, IAS. Despite countless assurances, the civic body has failed to deliver even the most basic urban services. Stormwater drains remain clogged, sewage lines are outdated, and illegal encroachments continue unchecked under BBMP’s watch. Meanwhile, crores are being spent on PR campaigns and glossy initiatives under the “Brand Bengaluru” banner. But what’s the point of showcasing a tech-savvy, global city when its residents are left wading through filthy water every time it rains? The façade of a world-class city crumbles the moment the skies open up. The reality is clear: unless BBMP prioritizes fundamental infrastructure over optics, “Brand Bengaluru” will remain a hollow tagline. What the city truly needs is accountability, sustainable urban planning, and leadership that listens to its citizen not just more slogans #bangalore #bengaluru #bangalorerains #bengalururains ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್‌ BengaluruCityPolice ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಸಂಚಾರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ BengaluruTrafficPolice CP Bengaluru ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಆಯುಕ್ತ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು Joint CP, Traffic, Bengaluru DGP KARNATAKA S. 📍 Vega City, Bannerghatta Road Take a look at the condition of this road. At first glance, it may appear to be a normal black patch, but in reality, the surface is completely damaged, filled with loose stones, mud, uneven patches, and crater-like potholes. This has turned what should be a safe public road into a serious hazard for commuters. The question every taxpayer is asking is: where is the tax money going? Citizens pay road tax, property tax, fuel tax, and various other charges, yet basic road infrastructure continues to deteriorate. During the rainy season, these roads get flooded and resemble small lakes, making travel dangerous and difficult. When there is no rain, the situation is hardly any better, as loose gravel, broken surfaces, and potholes pose risks to motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians alike. Bengaluru is known as India's technology capital, but many of its roads continue to reflect poor planning, delayed maintenance, and a lack of accountability. Residents are forced to navigate damaged roads every day while infrastructure projects and promises of development continue to dominate headlines. Do the lives and safety of citizens not matter? How many accidents, vehicle damages, and daily inconveniences must people endure before permanent solutions are implemented? Roads are not a luxury they are a basic necessity, and taxpayers deserve infrastructure that is safe, reliable, and maintained throughout the year. #bangalore #bengaluru #bannerghattaroad Greater Bengaluru Authority Maheshwar Rao.M, IAS DK Shivakumar ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಸಂಚಾರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ BengaluruTrafficPolice ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್‌ BengaluruCityPolice CP Bengaluru ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಆಯುಕ್ತ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು Joint CP, Traffic, Bengaluru alok kumar DGP KARNATAKA ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ Karnataka State Police DGP KARNATAKA S. Drainage Dead, Roads Gone, Governance Missing The Karnataka Model in Action Widespread rains have once again exposed the crumbling infrastructure of Karnataka, especially in districts like Kodagu. The roads in Kodagu have completely submerged, resembling rivers more than thoroughfares. Commuters are struggling to make their way through waterlogged and dangerously damaged roads. The situation is nothing short of a civic disaster, and it speaks volumes about the inefficiency and apathy of the current administration. Look at the condition of the roads it's as if the government has abandoned the people. The drainage systems, which should have been upgraded and maintained before the onset of monsoons, have completely failed. Instead of draining the excess rainwater, these systems have become chokepoints, contributing to flooding and water stagnation. This isn't just an inconvenience anymore it's a risk to life and property. Under Chief Minister Siddaramaiah so-called “Karnataka Model,” the state has seen inflated promises and flashy headlines, but on the ground, the basic infrastructure tells a very different story. What good are free schemes and social guarantees if people cannot even step out of their homes without risking their lives on flooded, cratered roads? Is this the model the government is so proud of? A model where rural and semi-urban regions like Kodagu are neglected year after year, left at the mercy of rains and government apathy? The people of Karnataka deserve more than token gestures and PR campaigns. They deserve roads that can withstand seasonal rains, drainage systems that function, and a government that actually plans for the future instead of reacting to disasters after the damage is done. The condition of Kodagu’s roads today is a direct consequence of short-sighted governance, lack of accountability, and misplaced priorities. It’s high time the Siddaramaiah government stops playing the blame game and starts delivering real results. Until then, the so-called “Karnataka Model” will remain a hollow slogan meaningless in the face of real, everyday struggles of the people. Karnataka State Police DGP KARNATAKA ChristinMathewPhilip

From Highway to Mud Pit: Uttara Kannada–Sirsi Road Turns Into Slush Nightmare Look at the condition of this road in Karnataka this is the Uttara Kannada Sirsi road. Thanks to our MLA, MP, and the state government for this worst kind of maintenance. What should have been a proper, motorable road has now turned into a muddy stretch filled with slush and deep potholes. This Uttara Kannada Sirsi road has become a nightmare for the public. Even buses are unable to cross smoothly, and bikers are struggling in the middle of the slush, risking accidents at every moment. Many vehicles are simply turning back because no one wants to get stuck or damage their vehicles. Local residents, daily commuters, school children, and emergency services are all suffering because of this pathetic condition. Where is the road? Is this what people pay taxes for? This is not just poor maintenance this is complete negligence. Authorities make big promises about development and infrastructure, but the ground reality on the Uttara Kannada Sirsi road tells a completely different story. Basic infrastructure like roads should be a priority, not an afterthought. The concerned officials and elected representatives must take responsibility immediately instead of ignoring the hardships faced by the people. The public deserves safe and proper roads, not this endless stretch of mud and inconvenience. #banalore #bengaluru #sirsi #uttarkannada 112 Uttara Kannada Deo UttaraKannada Ramalinga Reddy SP Karwar DK Shivakumar Siddaramaiah alok kumar DGP KARNATAKA ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ Karnataka State Police S. The West is not dying. It is being killed, and the names of the traitors are known. They occupy our capitals, infest our courts, pollute our newsrooms, and preach in our churches. They open the gates, kneel before the foreigner, and smirk as their own blood is driven from the land. They mock the fallen, defile the heroic, and spit on the blood that raised every city worth defending. They are not misguided. They are not mistaken. They are the enemy. They must be treated as such. For too long, we have been ruled by cowards, “men without chests,” by merchants loyal to nothing but the dollar, by liars who speak of progress while presiding over decay. A new generation now rises, armed not with apologies but with the fire of remembrance, with the memory of what we once were and the will to become greater still. We do not ask permission. We do not seek approval. We will reclaim what is ours, because no one else will. Victory will not come through debate. It will come through discipline, through will, through the unbreakable decision to endure, to outlast, and to return to the excellence and greatness that befit our people. We do not need millions. We require only a vanguard: men of loyalty, endurance, and resolve, hardened by truth and unmoved by fear. I say this not for approval, nor is it offered in hope of a reply, but in the spirit of doing what must be done. It is a promise made in full knowledge of what must come. The time of submission draws to a close. The age of reconquest begins. Let the traitors tremble. Let the weak, the feckless, and the unworthy fall away. The future belongs to those with the strength and the daring to seize it.
