Certain people are always telling me to show the NYC subway. Assuming I don’t because the request is from the people who think it’s “too dangerous to show”. I show it all the time on Facebook. So here it is. Tonight at 11:30 pm at 125th St in Harlem. I take the subway every day… morning, noon, and late night. It’s the only way I travel around New York City. It’s the reason many of us don’t have cars, such as myself.

I am sure it may vary by area but I never heard of a law that states your car has to have a license plate on it at all times even when being parked. A group of friends took off the license plate of their car to take pictures. Some cops came by and cited them for it. I don’t think everyone knows about this law, so if I’m say waxing my car and want to take the plate off so I can get to areas around it better, an officer can come by and cite me for it? I know I don’t have to have a front plate anymore and even when I started driving years ago I never kept a front plate on it and only got warnings for it. Maybe these friends are being trivial but have you heard of this? Do you think you should get a ticket if your parked car doesn’t have a plate? Thinking about it, maybe it’s because the plate is an identifying piece of the car, so if anything happens a plate is required for identification purposes. That’s my take on this, I can’t think of any other reason.

Debrina Kawam was burned to death on an F Train at Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue Station shortly before Christmas. Thanks to hard work from Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez and the NYPD, she was identified and her alleged killer is in custody. The real way to honor Debrina's memory is by making change so that not one more person is killed on the subway. That's a big part of what the 2025 Mayor's race has got to be about. In the coming weeks, I'll be putting out plans to end street and subway homelessness. It's time to make the city safe for everyone.

Try to look at your current reality with clear eyes. Z is where you ultimately want to end up, and B is your next step. All you need to know is A, B, and Z. You don’t need to know steps C through Y, but so often people will convince themselves, “Well, I don’t know what steps C through Y are.” Or even if they realize they’re not going to plan it all out, they’re like, “Yeah, but I kind of want to know what C, D, and E are.” They want to be able to see a little bit further into the future, but you have to become comfortable with some level of uncertainty." I am all for strange things that you can implement into your daily life that have positive health benefits. This is a nice one that tests your balance and proprioception as your head moves through different angles and planes of movement while you are travelling through space. It looks simple, but you will soon feel that walking is not the same as when your head is in place, as it normally is. Another one is to move your eyes in different directions, opposite to where your head is moving, and still maintain a semblance of balance. Start slow and feel your way into this.
