Deep in extreme drought, #Florida needs a good soaking. Good news: there’s strong model support for a tropical connnection setting up across Florida in about 8-12 days! This should deliver some widespread significant rain to the state and there’s even the outside chance of weak tropical development nearby, as #hurricane season begins. Although I’d say the chance is remote. Still the potential for a good soaking #rain is high.

It would appear the eye is heading right for Montego Bay in a few hours from now. Kingston area thankfully as expecting far missing the extreme weather closer to the eyewall.
