I am pretty sure gambling under the age of 21 is illegal. Sending money across state lines to gamble is also probably illegal.

If your sponsor, @HardRockBet, wants any credibility for the lines or markets they offer, they’d speak out against it. An active player, gambling on games of their team, is THE red line in sports. If Hard Rock Bet is okay with offering these markets, they should go broke.

He did break laws, though. Underage gambling. Illegal wire transfers and having people place bets for him. Not to mention legally using insider info, which defrauds everyone else. I know you love sports gambling, but this isn’t as nothing as you’re portraying.

Sorsby's biggest problem is he bet on his own team. He must have 💩 for brains & an absolute lack of common sense. Shame on Texas Tech for hitching their wagon to this guy. If he eventually loses in court, TT might have to vacate any wins in the 2026 season. Sorry, but Sorsby needs to be made an example of.

BYU had a star center miss 9 games for an NCAA suspension over paperwork innocently not filed correctly. Sorsby did something way worse and will miss two meaningless games. The NCAA’s stupidity led to the court’s now controlling college athletics. It’s going to get worse.

@colincowherd You have mentioned that there is no comparison for Brendan Sorsby because the gambling issue has never happened before. It actually has happened. The comp would be the notorious gambler Art Schlichter who was the 4th pick in the 82 draft. He washed out quickly.
