Isn't it marvellous to have a little garden with greenery and real nature, as opposed to these lifeless, concrete and plastic grass infested 'gardens' that seem to be all the rage (to lazy people) at the moment!

Another beauty and one on it’s way, so many of my groups have come out this week, when I give out I give 2 or 3 varieties to each person, so we have brown centres, yellow sone really dark, all those smiley faces, such a joy! Enjoy @PaulHeatonSolo 😊

Gorgeous. I put a photo on of my first efforts at growing sunflowers. You suggested planting later next yesr, which I will. Do you know why the leaves died from the bottom upwards, they never were healthy looking like yours. Advice appreciated 🌻

That’s an achievement I’ve never managed to grow them big like this hit we have a drought as well so hosepipe ban nosy plants have died here

This is all rainwater but mainly water from the bucket I leave in the shower next to me so I'd probably be ok with the ban

Oh no, I've not missed them for a few years now. Mainly fresh ones but a couple of oldies

So, they can grow from the same plant? Obviously I’m not green fingered. Should see my little forest. 🥴

love your sunflowers i grow them in NZ, those are the Russian ones grow to 7feet high massive heads on them. Everyone else likes them Birds,slugs,snails and bees.

Ours hasn't opened yet We have a competition, who grows the tallest gets a box of maltesers 🤭🤭🤭

Are they needing a lot of water?

Not really. Water them once a day with my shower water

Most of the stuff in the garden is doing OK. The pots need regular watering especially the tomatoes.

Your have done better than mine - most of which got eaten by slugs. Again 🙄

You don't have squirrels then? Coz I've given up trying to grow them in my garden coz the furry buggers keep eating them! 😱🤬😱 They jump on them, snap them! Then cart away the heads! 😱🤬😱 #GardenersWorld
