Sunflower update. She stands alone.....for now

Every Year for the last 3 years I have given out various 🌻 free as I used teach mindful meditation & it was one of our exercises & now I have MS so it’s a way I can still share & bring joy to people we have what’s app group instagram Mindful Sunflower Project it’s a Joy! 😊

I was in a pub in York yesterday and I overheard a woman talking to her husband about the Beautiful South and we ended up getting the staff to put some tunes on and the next thing you know, the whole pub is singing along. Great fun

Thank you Paul, I will do that. My great grandson came to see us and he planted the seeds then we have tended to them and he watered them on his visits. I’m a bit of a planter and see what happens, no idea what I’m doing! I’ve had great success with my plug plants so improving 😀

My sunflowers are small but bright. Grown from seed. They would no doubt be better in the ground rather than a pot.

Lovely. I grew some burgundy ones last year that got completely destroyed by slugs.

I didn't actually. Wasn't in the ideal place to grow much other than my trusty sunflowers

Damn it was hoping for some at the liverpool gig lol, I could have swapped for some tomatoes or chillis

Bloody snail 🐌 eaten the top off mine just before opening, looking like a bloody jack and the bean stalk now 🤬🤬✌️

Not always the culprits. I sacrificed a score of snails in my garden to find out later it was this little bugger- leaf cutter bee
