My HW3 Model 3 today while on FSD came to a complete stop at a red light, and while the light was still red, it began to roll into the middle of the intersection. Very unsafe, Tesla, V14 Lite can’t come soon enough.

FSD v14.3.7 doesn’t proceed on an advanced green This is the first time ever (?) that I have had FSD sit at a green light at not proceed. What’s also interesting is you can see the turn signal turn on for a second and then turn back off - but in the car the nav was 100% set to turn left. Any ideas? Has this ever happened to any of you.

FSD's performance has once again surpassed humans. While waiting at an intersection for the green light, FSD suddenly moved forward. The driver thought FSD was about to run a red light and prepared to disengage. However, FSD only moved forward slightly and then stopped. it didn’t run the red light. It turned out that a car behind was trying to squeeze past from FSD’s left rear side. FSD judged that the space was too narrow and unsafe, as it might get hit, so it moved to avoid the situation. 🚨 The first “critical” intervention we’ve had on FSD v14 (in fact, it’s the first since we picked up the new Model Y on 8/30) The oncoming car has no stop sign. I stopped the car, but either way, it wasn’t a very “close” event, but still something that needed to be intervened. I didn’t feel as if it was a situation that I wanted the car to work itself through. I felt this was an instance when it was time to take any chance of a collision out of the question. I didn’t ever feel like one was going to happen because I knew I could stop at any time. We’ve put about 3,000 miles on the car since picking it up, a majority of those on FSD. For this to be the first real mistake it’s made, it’s not totally upsetting, but still a reminder that YOU as the driver are responsible.

This man finds it extremely aggravating when you are in a left hand turn lane and the car in front stops at the white line. He says you pull into the middle of the intersection and take control of the intersection and wait there. If oncoming traffic doesn’t let up, you turn as the light is about to turn red and oncoming traffic stops. Many said that defensive driving classes tell you to stay behind the white line until you can make a turn and have a safe exit and this causes accidents. He says that any CDL class will tell you to take control of the intersection and pull up to the middle of it, that way everyone isn’t waiting three rotations to get through the light. What do you do? How do you drive? Do you stay behind the white line or do you pull into the intersection?

🚨 One thing that has frustrated me with Tesla Full Self-Driving is that I find it will sometimes change lanes to overtake a car, but the lane it changes into either ends or goes against the navigation (for example, it will change into a straight lane when it needs to be in a turn lane) Inevitably, it has to get back over before the lane ends or to get into the correct lane, and it ends up in the same place it was initially. A good example:

This is a tough UPL turn for fsd. Cross traffic is going 60mph & the sign blocks the view from the left but from the driver's seat, I could see the car coming at the 0:48 sec mark. Fsd tried to proceed & I had to disengage

Red steering wheel incident. This is by far the worst thing I have had occur on FSD 14.2.2.4. I tried it three times and every time it failed. It was supposed to take a left and the left blinker was on, but it looks like it started to take a right and then it stopped, displayed the red starting wheel and told me to take over while I was pulled out into the lane.

I had another FSD fail today. Going down the highway and we get to the dark skid marks and again FSD freaked out. Even though I was hovering my foot over the accelerator we went from 60 to 54 and got the red hands and warning alert to take over. Most of the time this doesn't happen but this is twice now the same thing has happened here. It seems to be OK if following another car but when we are the lead car this has happened twice. I'll be disengaging FSD just before these skid marks and then turn it back on once we have passed this spot until the next update comes out for V14.1 L

🚨Tesla FSD v14.3.3 saved me from an accident yesterday. A car blocked my visibility of traffic coming from my right; FSD saw it as an appropriate time to proceed. A car from the right was approaching, I never saw it, but the car did, and used the middle lane to merge safely:
