unironically one of the greatest mecha anime of all time. the transformation sequences alone are legendary.

This was better than everything that came after. But the name was Robotech, un 1985.

I remember that one that’s the alternate movie version of Robotech but it’s called Macross it’s super different from the original one like the episodes. They changed a little bit, but it’s always the same it’s a kick ass anime robot movie

It is an amazing and ambitious shot for a tv show. The movie version goes beyond it's more amazing and more ambitous. I love them both

It might be just me because I never watch the subbed version of Robotech a.k.a Macross, but the music in this just throws me off.
