Vasily Podkolzin is often the first player on the ice & one of the last to leave. Coaches are impressed with his work ethic and approach to the game. A young player who’s been showing well on Draisaitl’s line — stays in his top-six role with 97 back in the fold. #Oilers

FINALLY! The technology we've all been screaming for has ARRIVED AT LAST! The future is now! This is a compressed air-powered Audi by a Romanian firm. According to their website, it'll do 0-100 in 0.3 seconds and has a top speed of 600 km/h... Looks like it'd roll an ankle on the first corner. 😄

You wanna know why Cooper Kupp is the best receiver in football when he’s healthy? Because he literally does it all. There is not one receiver who does as much as Cooper. Most are dominate at 1 or 2 things. Cooper Kupp literally does everything at a dominating level. This man has great hands, he can route run with the best of them, he can use his underrated speed, he has the best IQ for a receiver, the best work ethic, and on top of that he’s one of the best blocking receivers in football. There’s not any other receiver in football that can match Cooper Kupp when you combine all of that together. His krpytonite has been injuries, but when he’s healthy. There is just no one close to this man’s level at the receiver spot. #NFL #RamsHouse

This is not the first time Embobut's son, Kipchumba Murkomen, has been recorded abrasively confronting a harmless young person simply trying to pursue an opportunity. In 2024, the self-proclaimed "super CS" faced heavy public backlash after his dismissive, on-camera response to a job seeker. Following the widespread criticism, he later sought out the young man and offered him a job. Today in Bomet, he was again seen chasing away another young man while live on camera. The young man's only "mistake" was approaching him with a job application letter. Murkomen claimed that such behavior poses a serious security threat. Had this happened in Ol Kalou, the young man would have received a warm welcome, even a hug, and been shown where to sit. Yaa bananda nia wee Bikyok.

We’ve seen guys like Judge, Stanton, Wells and others tinker with their stances to get into a better hitting position to attack strikes in the zone. When a guy like Volpe has struggled to hit consistently for his first 3 years, is constantly late on mid-velocity heaters in the middle of the zone and is constantly off-balance when he misses the off-speed stuff; you think to take a look at his pre-pitch habits especially what he’s doing with his hands and stride, and consider eliminating some of the unnecessary movements to simplify things and be ready to attack a pitch in the strike zone sooner. Volpe starts with his hands high above his head with some waggle to probably keep his hands moving and stay in rhythm, then as he strides he drops his hands into the slot while he loads, then wraps his hands behind him as he strides and keeps his weight back on his backside. That front foot needs to get down early as he gets his hands back to be ready to smoke something in the zone. Why hasn’t someone suggested dropping his hands pre-pitch in his stance to get them into the slot early, keep them back to prevent wrapping, and cut out one less moving part to get him better ready to attack pitches in the zone? He can even still have some waggle back there if he prefers to keep his hands moving. In theory if his hands are down and back already, all he needs to do is get his front foot down in time? It’s worth a try lol

The lats are not a nervous rescue dog. "Depress the scapula first." It's welded to my spine. Where's it going? "Now retract, but don't over-retract." So retract the correct amount. Cheers. "Think about pulling with your elbows, not your hands." My elbows are attached to my hands. This has been the arrangement for some time. "Imagine your hands are just hooks." Imagining. "Now feel the stretch and visualise the lat spread." Visualising. Bar hasn't moved. "You're not connected to it yet. We'll do some band work first." Brother in christ. It is the biggest muscle in my upper body, it is bolted to my pelvis, and it has one job: pull the arm down. That is its entire personality. Put your hands on the bar. Make the bar go down. Heavy. Don't turn it into a row. The lat has no choice. It's the only thing in there that can do it.

China now has its own “Bolt” — a robot named after sprint legend Usain Bolt. A Chinese research team has unveiled the world’s first full-size humanoid robot to reach a peak speed of 10 meters per second, setting a new global benchmark for humanoid running. Bolt runs like a body pushed to the limit. Its joints and power systems work in tight coordination, keeping it balanced even at sprint speed. Built to match the build of an adult man—1.75 meters tall and 75 kilograms—it is a life-sized system operating at the edge of physics. Compared with Usain Bolt’s iconic 9.58-second 100-meter world record, which many experts believe may stand for decades, the gap between humans and machines is narrowing fast. Chinese robots are now challenging the ceiling of human performance—much as AlphaGo once challenged Go champion Ke Jie. The breakthrough builds on earlier world-record achievements in high-speed robotic running and marks a giant leap for China in humanoid motion and control. Beyond records, Bolt also carries practical value: robots are leaving the lab and stepping into real-world settings—sports training, emergency response, and demanding industrial tasks where speed, balance and control truly matter.

Maël Le Lagadec, an 18-year-old from France, has made global headlines after accomplishing an impressive feat in the Pyrenees. On May 9, he carried a 35 kg wooden cross (1.10 m high, 70 cm wide, and 11 cm thick) on his back, along with a 15 kg backpack, for approximately 14 hours to Pic d’Aneto. At 3,404 meters in altitude, it is the highest point in the Pyrenees, located in Spanish territory (Aragon). The action was motivated by the vandalism of the original metal cross, which had stood at the summit since 1951. In mid-April 2026, the cross was sawn off with a grinder and stolen. Maël decided to build a new cross with his own hands, using black walnut wood. In a statement, he explained: "A few weeks ago, we discovered that the Aneto cross had disappeared. With a friend, we launched this somewhat crazy project to rebuild it." Accompanied by his friend, the young man completed the grueling ascent and, upon reaching the top, knelt down in emotion. "I arrive, I kneel, and I cry!" he recounted. The new cross now marks the summit of Aneto once again.

Shilo Sanders was just SHOWING OFF with this snag at OTA’s today. Sanders and Baker Mayfield (Bucs QB) have reportedly been “the most vocal leaders” so far through Buccaneers OTA’s. Shilo’s work ethic and improvement has reportedly even “caught the eye” of Antoine Winfield Jr. (Buccaneers All-Pro Safety). Sanders has reportedly shown that he has a “first in, last out” mentality and is ready to claim his spot on the 53-man roster. The Buccaneers rookie safety is TURNING HEADS early 😳

This is a feature of all Blue Zones — and of other places with long-living people. Hong Kong is fast-paced, urban, and hectic, but rivals Japan for the world’s highest life expectancy (it ranked number 1 in 2023). Central Hong Kong is filled with these interconnected walkways so you can walk everywhere, even in the middle of a raging monsoon! Singapore (in the top 5) also has interconnected walkways (which are underground rather than overground).

A masked man smashes and grabs jewelry at a Costco in Halifax. One slow moving woman is the only person yelling and chasing the bastard. Where the hell are all the men? Why isn’t this criminal face down on the concrete with half a dozen guys on top of him? Canada is falling apart because the soft, spineless men freeze, record, and wait for ‘authorities’ while grandma does the work. Brutal.
