I like to approach this sort of thing by finding light/dark values to separate the scene into and then replicating that before worrying about color... also scribbling to add visual noise is your best frienddd (does these for fun

if ppl wanna see more of these btw feel free to reply with scenery pics from pinterest and I can try to record some more...! (I am bad at using pinterest so this makes it easier for me to do more,

THIS GOT A LOT OF ATTENTION WOW... I'll probably only be replying to questions now bc there's a lot of replies but if you're interested I also made a speedpaint of drawing a character recently! (and my comms are open if you're interested!) tyfyt!

wao.... i've always struggled a lot with bgs but watching how you do it helps a lot with understanding a bit better the thought process that goes into it... thankie for sharing these!! gonna try to apply it to next few studies i do

there's a lot of ways to go about it!! i like doing it like this bc it helps you get a sense of the value balance that goes into it (the lighter areas help frame and bring attention to the darker areas) hehe

How would you approach something like this?

i can try to record a vid in the future! 🫡

Seeing this timelapse just made me learn a lot on how to approach backgrounds, something I've always struggled with... thank you so much for sharing this!!

NP YAHOOOO!

Thats so fast and obviously so good.... then if you're willing, i wanna see how you draw this bcs the lighting is interesting (and im suck at it)!🌟

@zohrashh hi! looking a bit closer at this image i think it might be AI generated, and i feel a bit weird about copying AI images 😭 ty for understanding!
