“Surely we cannot accept… that people with Down’s syndrome are second class citizens.” Foetuses with Down’s syndrome can be aborted up to the point of birth, but Conservative MP Liam Fox says he will table an amendment to change this to 24 weeks and asks for the PM's support.

@LiamFox People with DS should NEVER be treated as second class citizens. Our adopted DS son (39) is a wonderful person, when our grandchildren were young he was a very helpful uncle, they enjoyed his company. We all are so grateful to have him in our lives.😀

I admire this chap who unlike many is actually talking about subject he knows.

@Caittrainor Good man.

Thank you @LiamFox . Why should my brother be viewed as less important than my adored grandaughter? 24 weeks not 38, please.

Well said.

Up to the point of birth??

@LiamFox It should be equalised for all at 12 weeks.

Good Man Liam.

More progressive in this one area than labour are in their whole campaign

YouTuber Jesse Ridgway and his wife abort their child after finding out the baby had Down syndrome. Ridgway cited that they chose to kill the baby after deciding that he and his wife didn't want to be inconvenienced with a child with Down syndrome. "Things have been pretty dark for a while for us, and we felt this was gonna be a nice little ray of sunshine, and it's not." Horrific and selfish. An estimated 67% - 85% of pregnancies in the U.S. with a Down syndrome diagnosis are aborted. This is evil. Don't let anyone convince you otherwise.
