Surprising study: Who succeeds more – people who stay at their job while they build their startup, or people who go "all in" and quit their job?

Staying at a job or building will help eliminate some fear which in turn helps you make better decisions. It also keeps cash flow every month so that you don’t go out of business.

If I have a job while building my new startup/business/venture fine — I'm ok with doing that... I'll have the skills and knowledge that if I do eventually get let go - I can use those for startup... It's all about the perspective and where you see it going from there.

I was a hybrid. Stayed at job prior to launch/building MVP/product research/building up SEO, then quit and went all in 2 months before launch and went demon mode.

Again, this must only be true if you are living paycheck to paycheck With forethought and 1-2 years of expenses saved, I feel you can free up a lot of capacity to “go all in” Then again, I’m just a random dude doing this very thing.
