Our subsidiary VARD has recently launched the CSOV NB 986 at Vard Shipyards Romania – Brăila, the sixth wind farm service vessel built for Norwind Offshore. The unit is based on the VARD 4 19 design and tailored for sustainable offshore wind operations, confirming our commitment to sustainable maritime solutions. Production work will now continue in Brăila before the vessel is towed to Vard Søviknes for final outfitting and completion. Together with VARD, we are not just shipbuilders, but the control room of an ecosystem that invests every day in innovation and sustainability, building the future of the blue economy.

Today marked a humbling yet proud moment as we commissioned the state-of-the-art solar power plant at the American University of Nigeria (AUN). It is a plan that features the first phase of the AUN sustainable energy transition. It captures four of the dormitories, the university’s E-Learning library and the cafeteria. This milestone underscores our unwavering commitment to sustainable energy and innovative solutions for a brighter future. -AA

Aadachiwadi proves that a village can be smarter than a city. Once facing severe drought, this Pune village now has smooth roads, strict waste segregation, and 24/7 solar power. By taking control, removing middlemen, and empowering women in farming, they built a self-sustaining ecosystem. They didn’t wait for change; they built a system. Is this the future of India? Drop a ‘🙌’ if you agree! #Aadachiwadi #SmartVillage #SustainableLiving #Pune #PlasticFree [Smart Village Model, Sustainable Rural Development, Community Led Growth, Eco Friendly Living, Rural India Transformation]

For us, it’s not about ticking a box. It’s built into everything we do. From the materials we use and how we ship, to the way our screens run quietly and use less power, we’re always looking for smarter ways to make LESS of an impact. #dooh #tech

We also visited the Sammy Marks Strategic Urban Development, a 700-hectare mixed-use development set to transform Mamelodi East through a R7 billion investment. The development will deliver 8 447 residential units, as well as three educational facilities to support an integrated community. With 80% of buyers expected to come from Mamelodi, the project is already showing strong demand, with over 200 units sold within its first year. The development will also create approximately 500 construction jobs, while unlocking long-term economic growth, improved access to housing and sustainable urban development in Tshwane.
