It is worrying how almost everything, absolutely everything, is now being viewed and interpreted through a spiritual lens in this country. Turning national policies into religious talking points only deepens division and distracts from meaningful discussions about governance and development. Stakeholders, especially religious leaders with huge influence over gullible people, should engage with issues with facts and responsibility, not sensationalism.
