Deadly Rampage by Speeding Container Truck on Bengaluru’s Outskirts A horrific accidents took place on the outskirts of Bengaluru when a speeding container truck rammed into several vehicles. The container, moving at high speed, ploughed through the road and crashed into more than 20 vehicles, killing two people on the spot. The condition of several others is critical. The incident occurred along the stretch from Bestamanahalli near Anekal town to Chandapura. The container driver, who was reportedly speeding, first hit multiple parked vehicles and continued driving without stopping despite the collisions. Fortunately, most of the vehicles involved were parked, which helped prevent a higher death toll. Police chased the container truck for nearly 14 kilometres, but the driver failed to stop. Eventually, at Chandapura on the Hosur Highway, local residents pelted stones at the vehicle to stop it. The driver was injured due to the stone pelting and was finally forced to halt. More than five people were seriously injured in the incident and are currently undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital.
