A Cessna 525B CitationJet CJ3, N274DT, overruns the runway during landing at Louisville's Bowman Field in heavy rain. The aircraft came to a rest on a golf course with the nose gear collapsed. The two pilots and two passengers who were on the aircraft were alert and speaking with airport staff after the incident, spokesperson Natalie Chaudoin said. No injuries were reported. Maritime Rescue Co-ordination Centre, Mumbai received a distress call on PM #23Jul 24 from the bulk carrier reporting heavy blood loss due to critical injury to 51 Yr old mariner requesting immediate evacuation. Responding to the medical emergency, a Seaking helo was launched from #IndianNavy Air Station #INSShikra at 0550 hrs today. Challenging weather conditions with winds over 45 knots & heavy rolling of the ship were compunded by non-availability of continuous deck. A Kenmore Air de Havilland Canada DHC-3T Vazar Turbine Otter crashed while landing near Sucia Island, Washington on Thursday. Kenmore Air said its de Havilland DHC-3 Otter, Flight 140, departed Lake Union in Seattle at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday en route to Roche Harbor on San Juan Island. According to the airline, two injured passengers were taken to a hospital in Bellingham, while two others were transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Seven additional passengers were taken to a U.S. Coast Guard base for further evaluation. San Juan County Sheriff Eric Peter said one of the four injured passengers was being transported in critical condition.

Russia continues to target civilian infrastructure in Ukraine. At midday, Russia attacked a city hospital in Kherson. A shell hit one of the wards, damaging the building where patients and staff were inside. Three medical workers, aged 52, 49, and 21, were injured. They sustained concussions and blast injuries and are now receiving medical care. Hospitals are not military targets. Yet, Russia keeps attacking places meant to save lives. Russia must face consequences every time it chooses violence over diplomacy. Strong decisions and increased pressure must be applied to the aggressor immediately.

Operation Amistad - Responding to the devastating earthquake that struck northern Venezuela, the two Indian Airforce C17s transited through Abidjan enroute to Venezuela carrying 35 T of relief equipment, an Indian Army Field Hospital contingent and two BHISHM cubes.
