😳 Confused the accelerator and the brake — a car crashed into a swimming pool full of people In France, a 38-year-old woman drove her car at full speed straight into a public swimming pool during a training session. The cause was simple but frightening — the driver confused the pedals, The Sun reports. The incident happened in the town of La Ciotat. Her 5-year-old daughter was in the car. Two coaches and a passerby managed to pull them out of the vehicle. No one was killed, but the situation could have ended in tragedy — people were inside the pool at the time.

🚨 WOW! The TV networks have BACKED DOWN on the boycott of President Trump video coverage, despite 47 blocking CNN from the pool and Air Force One — NYT The networks view a long-term boycott as "UNTENABLE" THEY COULD NEVER STAY AWAY 😂😂 Sounds like the boycott of Trump during part of his Xi visit did NOT bode well for their ratings 😅 CNN's day/slot in the pool will STAY unfilled, but on days with other networks doing pool duty, coverage will be normal At any time, the networks could "vote" to start up the boycott again. But for now, CNN, despite having basic White House grounds access, is NOT in pool for events like Air Force One.

🎙️ Jake Fischer: "The Hornets are as loaded as any team that could enter a superstar trade fray at any given time. They've got as much draft capital as anyone. They have a lot of unprotected picks, and they've got a lot of young pieces." "Not to say it's going to come anytime soon. Again, I don't think Charlotte is involved in Jaylen Brown at all. But next trade deadline, next summer, two years down the line... Charlotte is as positioned as any team to get into a big-game hunting superstar trade sweepstakes."

Madison Beer shares a message to the crowd in Antwerp: “This is all so surreal now that you all have your lights up. This is my first time in Antwerp, I’ve only played Brussels before. It all feels crazy. I remember the first shows I played in this country were in very small rooms, and now looking around and seeing the amount of people in here feels unreal, so thank you for showing up tonight. I never would’ve thought I could achieve this, so this is a message to anyone willing to follow their dreams: keep following them & keep going.”

Matthew McConaughey reignites one of America’s biggest culture-war debates with a single question. Joe Rogan: “I think the Ten Commandments are very interesting. The problem is mandating it in classrooms what about Muslims? What about Buddhists? What about Hindus?” McConaughey: “Is there any of the Ten Commandments that you or anyone disagrees with? Or is the problem that it can be considered an oppressive authority?” “If we have the Ten Commandments, could everyone also have time to practice their own faith?”

STEPS BEFORE GETTING A RAPE KIT: 1. avoid cleaning things up. Showering, brushing teeth, combing hair can remove DNA of the perpetrator. 2. Take pictures of everything: injuries, the room, everything that could be used as evidence. 3. try not to use the restroom; urine can have traces of potential drugs. If you have to, keep it in a dark container (away from sunlight) before you go to the hospital. 4. If you are changing your clothes, keep them in a paper/fabric bag (NOT PLASTIC) and away from sunlight. 5. You may refuse any part of the testing at any point. It is a time-consuming, invasive process. 6. Bring someone with you, you should not have to go through it alone.

I have a question for you Hunter Biden. Did your crooked father help Finance Russia-linked escorts for you? “Sweetheart, are you ok? Are you hurt in any way? Any way are you hurt? Is there anything hurt on you? I was literally saying I was sorry it took so long to give you $10,000. Do you have any bruises? Have I ever touched you in a bad way? Ever? Have I asked you every time I could touch me? Look at me— You cannot talk to me that way and say things like that, because I am more respectful than anyone you ever met.” Joe Biden wired his son Hunter several thousands of dollars around this same moment when Hunter wanted an evening tryst with a Russian escort. This comes from text messages and financial records found on your notorious laptop.

Can anyone help with this? We need to find temporary accommodation for this fella and his 2 sons and their dog. The Street Guardians have put him up in a hotel for the time being but Liverpool play at home this weekend and prices go up and rooms even all book out. We’ve had donations to keep them in a hotel but that’s only for the next few days. Does anyone have any ideas for temporary accommodation for this family down on their luck? One of the followers are working on a long term solution for us. But I have no idea how long this will take so we need to think of a more reliable and cheaper option than hotels. If anyone can help please let us know. And to join the Street Guardians team…. Liverpool’s Street Guardians If you’d like to help, please call 07501 347544. And women are very welcome too—many have been joining in already. Get involved and make a difference 🙏✝️

It happened again. With a different rental car company. This time: Avis Car Rental. Francisco Melendez traveled from the island of Puerto Rico to Texas, and walked into an Avis rental car location in Cedar Hill, Texas, near Dallas, to pick up the vehicle he had rented. He presented his Puerto Rico drivers license, which is as valid is any license issued in any state in the United States of America. They asked for his passport. He didn’t have it. He told them he didn’t need it to fly to Texas so he didn’t need it to driver in Texas. The lady, according to Francisco, said “sir I don’t make the rules.” Here’s the kicker, he walked out of the Avis location furious so he says he stopped by an Enterprise just to see if he could rent one there. Though he didn’t have a pre-scheduled reservation, he walked up to the counter to try and book a car and he says a worker said the same thing to him: no passport, no rental. Watch to see the response from Avis higher ups.

Revisited Dhadkan. Dev is a broke, unemployed nobody with absolutely nothing going for him, yet he oozes unearned arrogance and entitlement. Bizarrely, a billionaire’s daughter was blind enough to fall for him and want him to meet her parents. All he had to do was show a shred of basic respect to them, but he chose to weaponize his insecurity and act like a delusional victim instead. In the real world, a powerful father wouldn’t waste time arguing with such a person; he’d have his security detail break every bone in his body and dump him in a ditch outside the city. Wonder how anyone could have had any sympathy for Dev when this movie came out.

Thank you for changing my life. You gave me more purpose than anything ever has. We started our journey together in this game long before anyone ever knew your name. Heck, they barely knew mine. They eventually learned mine, but the best it ever sounds is when they call me “Jordan’s Dad”. From UHS Athletics , to Sun Devil Football, & finally Notre Dame Football, all you did is work. I’m so proud of you kid. So blessed God have you to me. You had nothing to hang your head for as you walked off the field a college field for the very last time. You & your boys gave it all! Onward and Upward. #GoIrish #ForksUp

As someone who experienced threats and harassment from armed extremists for over a decade, I have empathy for anyone who feels afraid of retaliation for free speech. But at the end of the day, we all must make a choice: back down or double down. GOP Alaska Sen Lisa Murkowski could switch parties. She could oppose every nominee. She could use her status in the majority party to hold Donald Trump accountable. Instead, during Trump’s first term, Sen Murkowski voted with Trump 73% of the time. This term, Sen Murkowski has voted for 20 of Trump’s cabinet nominees. There are people with far less privilege and power than Sen Murkowski who have stood up to Trump. If any lawmaker is too afraid to use their voice, they should step aside and give their seat to someone who isn’t.

Three families from Cox Mill High School in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, are suing after biological males were permitted in the girls’ restrooms, locker rooms, and changing areas. When the girls objected, the school offered them a staff bathroom key. The boys stayed. One of the girls says she didn’t even speak up, because a coach told the team that anyone who objected to the policy should quit. Speak up and lose your spot. Stay quiet and keep it. The school board is now trying to get the case dismissed. This is the same pattern I have watched at home in Wisconsin. New Richmond. Oregon High School. A girl asks for privacy, and the accommodation is always hers to make. Find the staff bathroom. Find the single stall. Or leave. Senator Dick Durbin looked at stories like this and called a Senate hearing on girls’ sports a “vendetta,” then walked out. These are not statistics. These are our daughters.

Details shared by Syed Today, another very dangerous incident occurred while I was driving to work in Chennai, OMR Road, where the new metro rail project construction is going on. The video that I have attached shows a beam that falls off with a long screw or a bot attached to it and bounces while my car (Creta) goes underneath it. It was a near miss, and I was travelling with my family (my parents and brother), and they were in shock, as anything could have happened, as the sharp point could have caused immense damage or even injury to my family. As shown in the video, I myself was in shock and had to stop the car immediately. We got out and saw that most of the vehicles coming in the back were able to stop in time and got out without any damage or injuries. I did not go further to ask anyone, as my family wanted me to take them home immediately. Thankfully, no one was harmed. but this easily could have been a very bad situation sir. This incident took place on December 17th 2025, at 11:45 pm in OMR Road - Chennai, Tamil Nadu #tamilnadu

Elon Musk explains how Tesla’s Cybercab fleet will work: “Think of Tesla like some combination of Airbnb and Uber. There’ll be some number of cars that Tesla owns itself and operates in the fleet, and then there’ll be a bunch of cars owned by the end user. That end user can add or subtract their car from the fleet whenever they want. They can decide if they only want the car to be used by friends and family, by five-star users, or by anyone at any time. They could have the car come back to them and be exclusively theirs, like an Airbnb. You could rent out your guest room or not anytime you want.”

I’ll tell a story about Ni-ki that many new Engenes may not know. In the interview today, it was revealed that Ni-ki gave dance lessons for transportation costs so as to not burden his parents. I don’t know if people know this, but Ni-ki’s family did not come from any great wealth. As much as possible they always did their best for Ni-ki, never denying him any opportunities that could support his dreams. However, at the time when Ni-ki went to become a trainee in Belift, they could not afford any lavish place for him. Little Ni-ki stayed at a homestay that didn’t even have aircon in 36 degrees weather. His mom entered a raffle at the time to tried to get an air con, desk, and refrigerator for him. 😭 Ni-ki spent a lot of time in practice rooms because it was more comfortable there than in his homestay. He persevered and became an idol against all odds. Now him and his family are doing well, and it’s because he has worked hard with a sense of responsibility all his life. Please support Ni-ki a lot. He has a come a very long way. Every success and nice things he owns is due to the sacrifices he made early on. He’s so commendable in every way, and he never fails to make Engenes proud. translation by: manduminks
