Idk maybe. I grew up in the 90's and we didn't focus on race nearly as much as people do now. My friend group was hella diverse and there was plenty of times I was the only white dude at a party. Shit was very different and we all woulda went to war for each other.

The internet and social media has meant a lot of things for many people. And, one thing it has shown us is racism is still kick’n. The systems that we were taught were no longer around, proved to be still here. And, not saying you are wrong. Just that, when I became an adult and began to critically think about various things. Sad, but true racism never went away.

I honestly never saw so much racist shit until I got on Twitter. It sounds cliche, but it's fucking toxic. I work in a pretty diverse professional area and the majority of people are more focused on the elites vs working class. I'm also hopelessly optimistic
