Truth…

Coming from a guy that doesn’t even mow his own yard 😂

Love Sly! Hard work, dealing with adversity, tenacity and the ability to get up when you’re knocked down has become a lost art with so many young people!

An absolute legend in my eyes.

Each generation feels this way. The Irish bare knuckle fighters are laughing right now @grok

He is so right. I think back to when I was a kid in the 60's and the things we did for fun. Parents would have heart attacks if their kid even asked to do some of it. I have to place the blame, in large part, on the media and their fear mongering. Fear apparently sells and boy do they sell it. Because of that and the fact that kids are watching over 24/7, coddled, and over protected and the advent of the eye devices that keep them inside and divided, we have a population that is extremely overweight and out of shape. It has become the rule not the exception as when I was a kid. Very Sad!

HE REALISES HE WAS ...... ACTING RIGHT ✅ 🙄?? HE REALITY HE WASN'T A ....REAL FIGHTER ? RIGHT ??

Rocky Balboa (2006): “It ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done!”

I watched Copland again the other day and it's outstanding and stallone did it for no salary - huge all star cast and he carried the Film - we need to go back 25-35 years and re-release films that just missed getting oscars and revisit how much movies suck today - CGI is becoming ridiculous - the new Spiderman had me in tears, but some parts were bad CGI slop - we need to build real sets man - stop with all this impossible cartoon crap. I went to a small college - Salisbury U on the eastern shore and we did small budget plays and our Set director built incredible set pieces for some of our plays that were better than what Chris Nolan is doing - Dale Midliff of Pet Semetary went to my school - a hidden gem with real actors - performances and real tangible costumes and sets. We did West side story with a Full Orchestra and rolling sets for multiple scenes - why is Hollywood so lazy now. Rocky could never be made today.

I love a guy that delivers hard truth but in a nice way. You can't argue with logic. ♥️

The man who inspired David Goggins :( <3

Who's gonna carry the boats?

I think Sly actually believes he was a real boxer. Will give you credit for your hard work to make your career rise but you’re not Rocky or Rambo or any of the other rugged characters you’ve played. We have no idea if you’re physically tough in the slightest.

He is not wrong. We have to look 👀 at technology as a tool not a crutch 🩼

“…I cherish the hard work…” I get it….I agree. Hard work makes you appreciate the ease (of a self-propelled lawnmower after years of a push mower). Learn to appreciate that that we have. Learn the basics (the hard way), and appreciate the ease AFTER you’ve learned the basics

Weak men make bad times. Bad times make strong men. Strong men make good times. Good times make weak men.

An example that actors can have common sense. So much better to see human advice from a human to others than narcissistic actors who feel entitled to rule the world as they like! He challenged Dolph Lundgren and ended in a hospital. This is how you improve yourself.

Reminder: Gloves are padding so you don't break your hands, they're not padding for the other guy's face, in fact you can hit harder with more padding. Stallone might know this if he was actually a boxer instead of an actor

@TheSlyStallone So true, good sir! My father gave us boxing gloves at 9 years old and told us that bullies need a beat down! I refused his cognitive wares, which resulted in my physical abuse for years in high school. Critical thinking and common sense are like manna from heaven!

Do you miss this house, Sly?

People have been saying the same shit since the invention of fire. Like we're supposed to stop making progress so that we retain a toughness progress makes obsolete. You're not as tough as your ancestors either, Sly. Nor do you need to be. BECAUSE PROGRESS.

Someone should tell this bozo he's an actor and it was make believe

Wheel on luggage a bad thing? Has he ever had to change terminals in a large airport and walk 2 miles from one to the other? Wheels on luggage is one of the greatest ever ideas. next i suppose he says shoulder straps on backpacks are for the weak.

Fuck celebrities preaching about people having easy lives… yes sure its hard recovering from plastic surgeries aesthetic clinics and daily peptide and steroid injections. But complaining because there are wheels on a 25 kg suitcase… meathead retard by example

He’s absolutely right. But it’s not just physical, it’s mental too. Don’t let your smart phone think for you. Force your brain to engage.

True, but I think the hard work should just be upgraded to higher value tasks. If you have a robot that can mow your lawn, it frees up your time and energy to do something more meaningful than menial ‘hard work’ just because it’s hard.

I agree with Sly and I wasn't even born or grew up in that era.

@pcapdodger Delusional, moronic boomer paid millions to get hit for a few months a year, bitches about it decades later from one of his mansions. Piece of shit. When @TheSlyStallone grew up, people worked a few years & got a home with a garage. Everything we buy is built to fail. Poverty

I love Sly, but your kids have a privilege life. I’m sure you remind them every day, lol

Absolutely, convenience is by design to make America weaker. They have already manipulated diet to make Americans fat and also knock down testosterone... which in a male then triggers estrogen and cortisol. This is why gender confusion is easier to manipulate.

To be fair, Athleticism has evolved as well. Guys are bigger/faster and can kill on strength, thus they need bigger gloves. Science has improved in exercise sports science, so training had to change. Thanks to the boomers going through injuries, they changed the products, rules, and laws, not the next generation.

It's rich people that need to hear this messaging...the rest of us live in a completely different world.

Why do I like older Sylvester Stallone more than younger Stallone? Great to watch him.

Humans had to endure work like hunting for food, building shelter, enduring temperature changes etc. The best MEDICINE is HARD WORK.The body MUST on Sly….

Couldn’t care less what this selfish a$$hole has to say. I hope he’s enjoying his view of Lake Worth without all those pesky moored sailboats in the way.

As he stands infront of a bunch of awards and memorabilia of his ACTING CAREER!

Can’t wait for Season 4 of Tulsa King
