T3 Code is my favorite piece of software right now. it’s great for building ai-first software on top of & really easy to extend. getting back into coding, I kept losing track of all the branches in my projects, so I built a simple branch visualization:

Thats cool Wanna take a deeper look, can u pls link the PR?

Thanks Bilal! currently created a discussion as I didn't want to spam you guys with more PR's (also it is heavily Astra vibecoded atm so would need some clean up) should I create a PR instead?

here is the PR on my fork you can check out

Very nice! Reminds me of GitKraken but this has even cooler visualization

yes, that was a huge inspiration 😄

Man i thought i am watching my own file system xD

That's pretty cool, how often do you use that view

every time I'm going to an older project (e.g. after a week of working on something new)

I have been DYING for a branch view in t3

Looks beautiful!

thank you!

Been wanting this in t3 code for a while now, good stuff!

thanks Tanner!, hopefully lots of people find it useful so we can get it into upstream

What's that view? How do you get to it?

It is currently not available anwhere, but I created a discussion on whether this would be something useful to integrate into T3 Code (also can't wait for a plugin/extension mechanism)

#shipit

Is this like a plugin or did you fork t3code?

would be nice to review diffs if that's there hmmmmm

Serious question: why do you have many active branches that you need to manually track?

because I am working on multiple ideas at the same time, somtimes not touching them for a few weeks and then continuing

But why is the branching relevant? Just ask ai whatever you want to know…

having a clear visual overview is more efficient than constantly asking AI which branches have uncommitted work etc

Im not convinced, but I like the UI/UX ✌️

@kunchenguid maybe T3 Code is a good place for a Firstmate UI to live
