Reports last night on GB News and iNewspaper have revealed there are government plans to turn Fort Blockhouse in Portsmouth Harbour into a migrant processing centre. Currently there... is only 1 in the UK, in Kent, that’s already seen 18,000 people this year. Now they are looking opening a second one here in Hampshire. Meaning all those coaches you see leaving the shores will start travelling into Portsmouth Harbour. This means that logistically they may start disembarking more boats in this area, despite the huge protests we’ve seen. This is ON TOP of the Hasler detention centre in Gosport that’s set to open next year to house 600 illegal migrants at any one time. This is shocking. I will personally be writing to all the local MPs and Council Leaders, as well as the Home Office to strongly object to this - as we can’t rely on Liberals to do that as they voted against stopping this kind of this last week!show more

It’s starting to look like Fort Blockhouse needs an Australian approach—intercepting at sea and removing legal entry status—which requires primary legislation, a third-country deal, and tight containment to deliver a workable solution.

So what do you propose the government does? Would you rather they went into hotels (Suella did that)? Not be processed? Or is it just someone else's problem? They have to be landed and processed somewhere before they are either granted asylum or deported. Get real - stop the BS.
