Taking Running Bad to the Next Level A floor had to be called over when a four-card flop was spread while Ricky Landais was all-in and at-risk against Bobby James’ worse ace deep in the $10K GGMillions. The ruling was correctly decided. The four cards were scrambled face-down and... show more

It was not correctly decided. Use the RFID to recreate the hand!

The burn should have been the 6 of Diamonds. The King stays and Ricky should have won.

I don't usually call for refunds, but the @WSOP should give him his buy in back. This is an awful look for the game. While accidental, just a negligently gross human error from the dealer should not have these kinds of consequences. This feels off.

6 of Diamonds is the burn, anyone with a brain knows that. Terrible rule, dealer needs to be fired! She didn't even say sorry FOH

They better have fired that dealer. Stupid call they should have washed the entire hand

you have to be the entire clown college to think that burning the King was "Correctly Deciding" the outcome here. I hope Landais sues WSOP over this.

World Series of Mistakes.

Some advice for the WSOP Not a big fan of the ruling. In situations like this when the dealer messes up. Consider at least giving a free buy in to a comparable event. This will help take the sting off (a little bit) and show good faith. 👍🙏

Award the man a free entry into the main event, make it right @WSOP

Tons of potential for inconsistency had this been off stream. Brutal

Straight would have come in on the correct deal as well. Unlucky but irrelevant.

@RickLPoker's reaction after the ruling. You can really feel how much this one meant.

the first burn card had already been put aside. The flop should have been 6 K 5 leaving the 4 as the second burn card. Turn and river runout was correct still resulting in a straight for the player with A 9

This is egregious. Why of, all the options, would you reshuffle the flop there? We can see clear as day on socials that the 6 was the burn card.

@JDPC27 Only life changing $$ up top. Sooo shitty. These mistakes simply can’t happen. Need veteran dealers final 5 tables minimum. Not hard to organize and schedule this way.

6d should've been the burn. We saw how they came out.

The K couldn't have possibly been the burn card. Stop rewarding these high roller idiots who play A-9 off with pay jumps.

She already burned a card for the flop. My question is shouldn't that card would be reshuffled as well.

Since this is on video. It is easily seen that the burn was NOT the king in any way. I understand rules are based on no one knowing the correct order of the cards, so they shuffle, etc - but in this case where it is on video, it is obvious.

Anyone who’s ever told a bad beat story can’t beat this one. Losing because of a dealer error has to take the cake.

I don’t understand why you have to scramble the 4 cards. It should be easy to establish the 4th card as the burn. Looks like the 6d should be the burn card

The floor is worse than dealer in my opinion. Horrible mistake but humans are humans. The floor asking the players what the ruling is should be grounds for termination . The optics of him are way worse than her ….

Could have at least tagged me in it guys.

Extremely sick and unlucky but everyone regs the tournament hoping that floors will follow the correct rules which they did here so don’t know why the guys crying on Facebook like they deliberately fucked him over

Why the fuck would the wsop twitter account post this? Do they enjoy making themselves looks like fools?

I can’t believe you posted this

If there was ever a time to challenge a ruling, this is it. The other players at the table would have backed him on it if he tried to fight it.

Why can’t you just use common sense? There was no debate at the table. Everyone knew the 6 should’ve been the burn card. This ruling would make sense if the order of the cards wasn’t clear, but that wasn’t the case. Unreal.

Should we post it? Yeah, fuck it, let's post it.

The dealers here prove once again that they are awful! Maybe 1 in 10 are actually good and year after year it gets worse! This is why the Wynn and the Venetian are way better options to play this time of year!

That’s not the right call. The first card in the flop was the fourth card off the deck. It’s the next burn card. I may have done that a time or two. Where the hell was Tim Loui?!?

Holy cow that is brutal

That dealer is AWFUL and should lose her job immediately

He handled that way better than I would have... but I can promise he didnt leave 5 stars.

The 4 and 5 are the only cards guaranteed to have been in the flop no matter what. The burn card was between the 6 and the K, but only the cameras could've determined which one of the two, and even the cameras could've missed it.
