Any chance for a tower defense mode ?

That's something I'm considering. 1st prototype of this game had some TD mechanics and it was promising. For now, I decided to stay focused on making a relaxing game first.

I can definitly see a tower defense creatively new concept that is tend more too relaxation/satisfaction than stress <3

I know at least one person who won't be wishlisting it, but he's got a lot of issues.

My god, I am absolutely LOVING the physics in this so far... Any chance of adding fish of varius sizes? I see there's varius debris and Small fish(?) already - but how about something bigger? crabs? things that burrow etc? <3 I can't wait to showcase this to my community.

How have we actually never had a game like this before. Incredible work! I’m so excited for this Will it be optimized for Steam Deck? This would be my only way of playing it, as I do not own a gaming PC

In terms of performance, it should run fine on steam deck (I haven't tested it yet). The controls might be the trickier part.

@OskSta When I watched this I imagined a tower defense game where the sand is part of what you build up each round and water is used as ammo in enemy guns

@OskSta The first prototype of the game was much more TD oriented. I eventually decided to focus on the cozy/relaxing sandbox aspect instead of trying to fit different genre inside the same game. That being said, I think this could be a nice new game mode to offer as post launch update!

@MoldyMagnet @OskSta I wouldn’t say no to having a little crab army lol. But I have to agree with you that it risks losing its charm as a cozy game.

@MoldyMagnet @OskSta Yes, it's very tempting to do honestly! Once I'm satisfied with the base game, I'll probably give this mode a serious shot!

It would be crazy if there were a durability limit in the wave-breaking zone and you were forced to start over by doing something more powerful. If a game did that, I’d applaud. With the added force of the tides. I’m like a child dreaming, but this time, I’m dreaming well.

Love this first thing that pops in my mind gameplay wise, is challenges where you have to get x amount of water from one spot to another, and have to terraform terrain and utilise small mechanizations (like powered turbine) that you unlock etc.

I would like a demo please. Thankyou.
