Tamilnadu Innovate way provide better working condition for swacchtha workers This should be adopted across India, especially in summer and also helps in monsoon.

Isn't this dry leaf hat more economical to be made and easy to carry. Also, this is eco- friendly.

Even then 4 cities MADURAI,CHENNAI, ERODE,SALEM were declared (in that order) as dirtiest cities recently.

Hat mein kya problem hai?

Stupid innovation. What they are wearing is additional weightage for them They need to innovate and alternate to brooms.

An overengineered solution. Just give them big hats. Cheaper and effective. However I appreciate the gesture made.

Ultimate solution to decades of working under the scorching sun and pouring rain . Who needs fair wages, proper restrooms, or even basic dignity when there’s a hat, right? BTW, is this really for comfort, or just a way to keep them working longer in the sun and rain ?

Sanitation workers using brooms and baskets. And then stupid umbrellas. Indians haven't seen modern equipment used elsewhere to keep cities clean.

It's 2025 and we are doing this in the name of innovation? Ofcourse I like this one which helps them but we have money right to give them better equipment atleast,rather than giving freebies atleast provide these people with some benifits, majority of them are very kind tbh

@dm_ghaziabad @AMRUTCityGzb @myogioffice Can UP govt. provide such umbrellas to all its sanitation workers to prevent them from scorching heat 🙏🙏

I don't understand the design. Shouldn't the Silver coloured surface be on the top to reflect as much heat & sunlight as possible?

This is nothing! In Pune the cleaning people usually hire other people at low cost, and they themselves relax and enjoy at home 😀! Don't tell me relaxing at home isn't a better deal!

Are you kidding me?

Well done 👍

@MySuratMySMC @collectorsurat

In a world wr even poorer countries are using machineries to do these kind of work we are still using n’ humans making them suffer in hot climatic conditions what kind of place are we living in exactly

In Kerala many villagers use this type of umbrella.

Every state should implement this for their workers

Super. 👍🏻👍🏻

Did you ask these individuals if there are okay with being on camera?

@MunCorpGurugram @DC_Gurugram ... Learn something...

Udhar tumahare jaise dharam ka dhandha krne wale rule nhi krte. Wo log padhe likhe hai, apne baccho ko achi education, health and facilities dete hai. Ye desh ka future hona chahiye but North India mai to bas Dharm ka dhandha bana diya hai.

👌🏻 Excellent one🌹👏🏻👏🏻🤗So nice to see India innovative for people down the line to make their lives better - simple yet effective

Great 🙏

none of them wearing gloves or boots

@sanghaviharsh @collectorsurat

Frankly I want one 😊

By these broomsticks there r not doing shit Any professions first duty is to serve first But government take people who do nothing Only get salary from our taxes Why then there city is not in the cleanest?? @libertypartyind @IndLibertarians Salary budget>>cleanliness budget

Best innovation in many years.
