For those talking about the Heimlich maneuver, you can't do that on small children because you'll break their ribs. The police officer did the right thing, hence why the Tomato came out. Good job to the officers involved! God bless them!

I did this to my niece she was about 2 ish, about 40 years ago, had a Dorito lodged in her throat. First thing I did was put her over my knee and just started hitting her back firmly with a cupped hand and out it came, with some mucous and her crying. She was ok! Mom was stunned.
