Tarantino perfectly explained why they’re not

Dude can speak for hours without saying a thing. This clip being an example.

The guy who prefers movies says he prefers movies for very arbitrary not palpable reasons. How surprising

in books, you cannot see the ladies’ feet, but in cinema, buddy? lookout!

I’m glad he mentioned that other art forms do the exact same thing just “different”, because the real sell is on communal experience. I also can’t help but consider the horror idea of not showing the monster being scarier than seeing it. Music absolutely allows the same feeling

One of the times when Tarantino isn't wrong but pin point right.

When it comes to feel/experience, movies are the best medium because they engage more of our senses than books do. But when it comes to knowledge/insight, books are superior thanks to their sheer numbers (cheap to make) and the fact that anyone can write one, whether good or bad.

Yeah well of course Tarantino would say this - he's illiterate.

Books and music absolutely do this as well. Judging entire art forms against each other is toddler behavior

youre a gay ass little faggot following drivel spouted by an average filmmaker who was lucky to have good choreographers on set

meh, I think music can do that on its own, I don't know what he's talking about
