The use of color started to drop off in the 60s. The future looks bleak.

We know all of the color is gone, Target has made it clear that they don’t value diversity, equity, and inclusion 😭

Target still looks the same. There’s just a warm color filter over the second part of the video. And it was more crowded back then.

Corporations are ran by soulless robots so they don’t care if all the soul is sucked out of something. They will make it minimalistic, bland and soulless and they couldn’t care less how the public feels about

In 2005 goal was to surprise people and gain their interests. In 2024 most of the products just became a daily routine, nothing further.

I have a firm belief that retail is looking to go strictly online, with stores being “edge warehouses”. Especially with them incentivizing free parking lot pickup. They’re just sick and tired of the theft to the point where it’s less headaches if they let no one inside. We did it to ourselves.

So who decided beige was chic and fun no longer exists?

Not just stores. Cars, clothing, houses, all grey/white/black, dull soulless monotone.

I miss the 90´ man. A time of bliss. We had no idea immigration was a problem because we couldn’t see much of it; everything was colorfull; we had no mobile phones. Want to see your friends? Call them at home and ask mommy to pass the phone so we can set a meetup location and time….damn…we didn’t know it was the very last few years before everything started to look like a planet of the apes themed warzone. I’m just being nostalgic sorry but i remember it so well.

It's weird because I've probably spent 100+ hours in target over the last 5 years but when I picture it in my head it's still the 2005 one

Target 2024: soul sold to beige. 2005: a color explosion. Where’s the vibe gone?
